Been in Kutztown for years now and Letterman has kicked the can. New people on the grill who shouldn’t be. Undercooked eggs and overcooked home fries. Soggy scrapple yet burnt on the outside. French toast is just thick cuts of bread coated in stove grease and butter. Service was okay, didn’t ask for a name for my food or gave me the price on the phone. When I picked it up, everyone is staring at me. And not cuz I’m the only one standing in a small room, it was just unwelcoming. Last time I order from here

AMAZING breakfast and service. There is not a lot of seating area (seating for maybe 30 people or so), but it is definitely worth the wait to get in if there is a line. Wide variety of the usual and with plenty of unique, fun combinations. I had the scrabble poutine, and it was amazing. You will go home with leftovers as the portions are huge. Will definitely be back when in the area.

I really wish I would have taken pictures while I was here with the cell service from my provider out. There was just horrible and I was frustrated with that. I did not take any. I’ve heard many stories about this place as it’s been a local legend forever from my understanding. Anyway, I had time off last week so I decided to take the drive out and grab some food. I can’t believe I waited this long Because I was blown away by the food. The most amazing breakfast I’ve had in such a long time. They cook everything fresh from when you order it so it takes a couple minutes longer but it’s definitely worth it. The old-school atmosphere is just amazing and takes you back in time to a more simpler lifestyle. You will not leave this place hungry that’s for sure. The prices are really insanely cheap for the amount of food that you get. I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of parking out front if you in the area for some breakfast or lunch. Please be sure to check it out.
