okay drinks and staff. i just didnt like how unclean the bathrooms were. vomit was everywhere and pretty sure i saw pee on the toilets..not in them.

They made fun of my disabled girlfriend. I was standing outside smoking while my girlfriend went inside to pee and once she went inside the bouncer made a joke about how she can’t see because she is blind and couldn’t see them. Nolan was the bouncers name he was talking to a female that was sitting on a chair who was checking ids and another guy. I understood why people hated Shortys but after this I will never return to that bar again

Shorty's is always a good vibe!! It might look like a frat basement, but I promise you that you will have fun there. The DJ and bartenders are so chill and the drinks are cheap and good!
It's a college bar in a small town. They have pretty good happy hour specials during the week. They have trivia on Friday with cheap drinks, burgers and pizza. People don't come till later at night well after 11 and it's only really fun after lots of people get there. They try to do lots of events to really get the students to come. The music is alright. But again it's not some big fancy thing it's a small college bar. I like shortys because people are usually up and dancing and it's more lively than the pub in Ku which is more relaxed.

It's fun to stumble in here drunk at 1 a.m. but that's the only time it's tolerable. The music is okay but my feet got more dirty from being in there in flip flops for an hour than they did when I walked around all of South Street in Philly in flip flops. The bathrooms usually have a lot of pee on the floor and smell really bad so if you're drunk, I wouldn't recommend going in there because you will get sick. It's like pulling teeth trying to get a drink at the bar so I recommend just getting beers. I wouldn't really want an open topped drink in this place, I feel like the bacteria floating around in the air would get in it.
