Old fashioned bar. Pub is also an accurate description. Best roast beef sandwiches around! Au jus on a Kaiser roll. With provolone cheese, some horseradish and you’re in tastebud heaven! Located in the middle of Lafayette Hill it’s only a couple miles from the PA Turnpike and route 476.
Gravy is delicious and the kaiser roll tastes super fresh. Really kind, attentive, welcoming service. The beef itself is fresh; I recommend planning to add your own salt and seasonings to it, along with the gravy it'll make it good.
I know: it's just a bar, how can it be 5 stars across the board? Well... it's been there for a long as I can remember, at least back in the early 90s. Service is spot-on, quick and friendly (not fake friendly). The beer is cold and clean, the TVs are on, but not deafening.
But look, you're here for the sandwiches! Look at my Ale House Special, hand carved roast beef (at a butcher block table right in the middle of the bar!), Russian dressing and cole slaw...
