“I am not sure what we should have been expecting, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was casual, the food was very good, and the service was great. Some folks played some pool which was entertaining. It's not a big place and many of the other patrons seemed to know each other so it had a kind of friendly get-together feeling. Probably not exactly suited for kids, but we are thinking of going back.“

“R Place is definitely the place to when it's 5 o'clock somewhere! The food is great (American Bar) the atmosphere is fun and the drinks are cold! I came with a friend and left with many!
Got the mozzarella stick and the house salad. Sticks were thick and crispy and the salad was fresh and delicious.“

“This was definitely an experience my husband and I needed. It was such a nice place, very big, very spacious. We stayed in the Cove Harbour suite and it was huge. I loved the star lights on the ceiling. The bathroom was huge with a double vanity. Heart shaped hot tub was so cute. I found the toilet a little oddly placed and the standing shower small in such a huge bathroom. We had rose petals added to our package and it was sweet but I expected a little more roses than what was laid out. The sparkling champagne was so delicious, we ended up ordering a 2nd one. The first champagne was in the fridge but no glasses were left for us so we drank straight from the bottle. The 2nd champagne we ordered delivered to the room, came with champagne flutes but 1 was broken so we didn't end up using it. We had complimentary dinner/breakfast included with our stay. Dinner was ok, didn't meet our expectations. I ordered the Grilled Seared Salmon and my husband ordered the Lamb Osso Buco. Salmon was how I liked my fish to be cooked but was so dry. My husband barely finished his dinner. Breakfast was great though, lots of options. Our server was great, very nice, funny, and very attentive. We also went to Spooners for a quick lunch snack and to play some games, it was enjoyable, played billiards, ping pong, connect 4. Nothing crazy and it was free. The arcade games you did have to pay for but they weren't expensive, it's like $1 a game. We took a peek at the gym but it was bare with just a few machines. It wasn't as lively as I had expected it to be but considering we only stayed 1 night, I'm sure there was so much more to see. This is definitely a place to reconnect with your significant other and just enjoy each other's company.“

“AJ’s is the best place to go to have a great time and enjoy yourself. The bar staff is outstanding and extremely friendly. They works very hard running around all night during events serving drinks and food. Danny, one of the owner’s, is very accommodating to everyone. I like the fact that Danny joins in with all of his customers right on the dance floor then makes the dash to clean the tables off and make sure everybody has what they need. We’ve eaten there many times and the food is always great. Outstanding kitchen! I highly recommend going to a place that is fun to be at to have a good time. The bands that Danny gets are absolutely fantastic and top-notch. Give AJ’s a try for yourself. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.“
