The food is meh. The service is polite but really slowwww. Everyone has been complaining how slow they are serving the food when I was here. So I would say all the complaints in the other reviews are real.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food served by a very endearing staff. Laid back ambience adds the final touch to an already great experience!!!! Strongly recommend!!!!!

I had a pleasant experience! Our server Kenneth was great ! Loved that the place is Mexican and play Hispanic music as it should be !

The best item was the chicken tenders and fries. Waitress was burdened to even look at us. The support staff made the experience not walk out worthy. Steak was burnt. Had to ask multiple times just to get our check and even then the bus boy had to bring it to us. Then was pressured to tip the waitress who's name I only found out from the printed receipt.

Nobody to greet us at the door, didn’t know if it was seat yourself or be seated. Found somebody and asked to sit outside they said go ahead, yet another employee outside said that the paint on the floor was wet? Confused because there were people outside eating and no wet paint signs. Pics of food from reviews looked good but there was a buffet style setup. Very strange, didn’t end up staying.

Was way over crowded didnt not stay to eat.

Worst restaurant ever!!!! Waiters are walking like zombies and don’t even bother to seat you at the table. Our waitress came after 20 minutes to take our order for drinks and food. We’ve ordered apple juice for the kids and waited another 30 minutes for to waitress to show up at next to us table. When I asked her for kids apple juice I was told they don’t even have in the menu.
This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to.

The food was really good, fresh with a good flavor. However, the service was not good. We waited 15-20 minutes after being seated to order drinks and food. Then, after our food came, we never saw our waitress again, even after we asked for extra sour cream. We had to ask someone else for boxes and our check. The waitress never came back to get our money, so we had to walk up to the bar. The restaurant was not even crowded.

It was gross. The food was nasty and looked old. Drinks were expired. It was the most nasty place I have ever been too. DO NOT GO HERE!

It is now a Mexican Restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Our server Angel and Chef Angel made sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend. Food tastes fresh which was important to me.

Looking to try something different? The Mexican restaurant at the main lodge in Split Rock Resort, Lake Harmony, is a must! I was truly waited on by angels tonight—my server and the chef were both named Angel, and they delivered exceptional service with a personal touch.

Chef Angel brought out my food himself, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I had the steak tacos and ceviche nachos—both were absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick, warm, and attentive.

This spot can be busy during peak season, but if you visit in the off-season, you’ll enjoy a quieter atmosphere and even more personalized service. The view of the lake in the evening is breathtaking. Definitely a hidden gem worth discovering!

Haven’t ate the food yet because it’s been an hour and 20 minutes..ok i ate the food now. My enchilada was good but the other people at my table hated the food the nachos has no cheese and the server was terrible never coming back and the beer was expired. The queso we ordered ended up being straight yellow cheese. The waitress does not speak english and my shrimp still had the poop in it
