“Who would've thought a hotel could have its own bowling alley and arcade? Split Rock is not your average joint! We spent hours knocking down pins and playing classic arcade games. It's like stepping back in time, and it's a blast. The rooms are always fresh and tidy. It's like coming back to a sanctuary after a day of fun. You can relax and unwind without a worry in the world. I've gotta give a big shoutout to the staff here. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. It's like being with family. Their genuine hospitality made our stay unforgettable. “This place was great. There was no wait, and we were able to sit down immediately. The inside lakefront view area is very nice. The food and service were great, and it was very cozy. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about is that a slice of red velvet cake was $9. Although It was delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. I would recommend. We will be back again!”

“My family decided to visit Caribbean Deck Cafe while we were vacationing in the Poconos. From the moment we walked in, Shaine treated us like family! He allowed us to taste test a few dishes and we enjoyed talking to him about all kinds of things. As for the food itself, it felt like we were at Shaine's backyard barbeque! He kept piling it on and the portions were huge! We tried the curry goat (my favorite, though everything could arguably be considered a favorite!), the oxtail, stew chicken, and jerk chicken - each dish was full of flavor, hot/fresh, and oh so satisfying! The curry goat was seasoned to perfection, the oxtail was meaty and tasty, the stew chicken meat was fall-off-the-bone (see photo), and the spicy homemade jerk sauce was out of this world! Anytime we go to the Poconos, we plan on being back here for sure. The sides consisted of plantains and cabbage, and both paired very well with each meal. Rice options are rice and peas or white rice (rice was delicious). We dined in and appreciated the large plates and overall attentive experience. After our meal, Shaine hooked us up with sweet potato pudding and Hennessy cake on the house! And I must say: Both hit the spot! The sweet potato pudding was like a slice of sweet potato pie with pudding consistency - it was hot and sweet, and it was exactly what I needed after the amazing meal. Hennessy cake gave me rum cake vibes (note: I don't drink alcohol and am far from a connoisseur) and it was also great! We want to thank Shaine for really going above and beyond to take care of our family. The Poconos community is blessed to have him and Caribbean Deck Cafe! Every 5-Star Review is well-earned/well-deserved, and you will NOT regret visiting. Very highly recommended!!!”

“This is our local breakfast spot, the food is good with a lot of choices. The German pancakes are superb.We have been here many times for breakfast and lunch and it never disappoints.The staff are friendly and efficient, the layout/decor is your standard cafe/diner, no frills but perfectly adequate.Kid-friendliness: We take our 10yo and 7yo here a bunch, most of the staff are family people and good with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp up to doors and wide door access.”

“Ambiance (4/5): There’s a huge parking lot and noticed that the venue is expanding. There’s a large bar in the center with several tables toward the back. Our timing was perfect and we were sat immediately on a weekend for our party of 6. The table was cool—made out of a whiskey barrel and a piece of glass on top. The inside is tight but cozy.Service (4/5): The place was bustling so our corner table was often neglected. They were doing their best! The staff was friendly and patient the whole time.Food:Starters: A bowl of bread and butter. Entrees also come with a salad and dressing of your choice. The salad is packed with mixed greens, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers!Buffalo Shrimp (5/5): I don’t even eat shrimp and it’s delicious! Whatever breading they use is packed with flavor and has a nice crunch to each biteBuffalo Wings (4/5): Ask for the wings with mild sauce and drizzled with parmesan sauce. There’s a light breading around the wing that gives it a nice crunch.Stuffed Chicken with Crab à la Vodka (4/5): The chicken was moist and filled completely of crab meat! The sauce was penne à la vodka was good but lacked some saltiness and flavoring. I had to dump a decent amount of salt and red peppers to it.”

“My wife and I have been religious customers here, for over 2 years, and at least once a week visits or more, and with recommendations to friends to come. Never had a bad experience!Food-Great, Wait staff-eggsalent, atmosphere-perfect. Hospitality-unmatched.We are moving South, but we will be up, to see our kids and just to eat here and visit Vicki and the crew! We will miss this place, because it feels like, home.”

“This place is by far the absolute best restaurant in the Poconos. I’m not into large portions because they usually lack in quality. This place has both. Very generous portions & top quality very fresh. We dine in Philly a lot. We now prefer to drive up to the Poconos because this place is that good. “When my Jeep grenaded it’s serpentine belt I pulled into the owners lot where I was greeted by Don and Vicky, they looked at my car, insisted I come in to stay warm and even gave me a few pints to take the sting of breaking down away! “I live in New York but have parents that live in the Poconos and visit them regularly. For the longest I always went to other pizza places nearby. But as of recent a lot of them are under new ownership and the pizza has really taken a turn for the worst. This place calls themselves the best pizza in town so I decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and the self proclamation. I was pleasantly surprised because the pizza is definitely the best in Blakeslee/Poconos. I ordered a large pie with pepperoni and mushrooms and it tasted very good. Its not NY pizza. But I would have to agree it's the best around. Not only that but the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I placed my order over the phone and even the gentleman who took my order was very courteous and they even sent me an update to my phone letting me know when my pizza and other food was ready.However I took a star off because this place is incredibly pricey for the area. It's actually more expensive than the pizza place by me in NY. I paid $11 for a chicken salad which although tasted good looked like it was made from bagged salad and the cucumbers inside were soggy and not fresh. As this is a pizza place I can't really complain too much about this as most people don't go to a pizzeria specifically looking for a salad.This will be my new pizza place moving forward for my visits and I will be coming back here again for the pizza.”

“Jon...I have been and continue to be a big fan of China Pearl for over 19 years now. Ur always a pleasure and food is always good with large portions. However, the price increases in the past couple of years and removal of small size options is too much to bear. PLEASE consider reducing some prices ($11.00 for sautéed string beans for instance) and/or bring back small size optioms. Between my bf and I, we order take out about 8 times a month, but sadly, we will have to cut that in half. :(”

“This place is a 10/10! Our family came from Texas to visit and we ordered dumplings, general tso’s, and the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was extremely crispy and delicious and the dumplings were fresh. Definitely recommend coming here!”
