“Stopped by here on a road trip, and I was pleasantly surprised! We were greeted with a classic diner environment with booths and counter seating. The lady working the counter was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The portion sizes for food were also generous, and it tasted good! The options for food are pretty standard for an American diner, but it hit the spot! The prices are also very reasonable! Of note, this place is cash only.”

“Originally stumbled upon Antonio's, because no nearby shops permitted any emergency, bathroom use. Was directed to Antonio's! Well, Pierro (da pizzero) turns out, is Italian---a people person.As matter of convenience, I asked Pierro heat-up coupla slice for opportunity to sample the pizza baking skills; this passionately kind gentleman delivers. The rest was history.... I often stop here, when shopping locally, passing thru town, or as a matter of craving for a deliciously-satisfying cheese-steak w my favorite embellishments. But, though a regular-sized cheese-steak is plenty-enough food, for a working man's appetite, I almost invariably get the "large"......looks double the regular size, for only coupla bucks more..... and he really loads-up the steak greater than All other restaurants I been..... in Philly, and many miles in between!!!I prefer dining from restaurants, where the chef-pizzero has ❤️ for his customers.Parking: strip mall parking...... when super-busy, I enjoy walking a few steps more; as I enjoy free exercise, w/o any whimper.”

“Great place to stop and have a delicious ice cream! Friendly staff, huge selection and variety. Plenty of take out choices also such as ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, etc. The other locations are just as good and the owners are very community minded!Parking: All locations have plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, staff if friendly to everyone!”

“Had a memorable dinner experience at PowerHouse Eatery recently! We made reservations at Powerhouse Eatery for dinner a few Saturdays ago because we had heard really good things about it. It has a really cool and unique industrial vibe and an interesting story and history story for sure, I liked how they maintained some of the features from when it was a power plant prior to being remodeled. The industrial ambiance adds a unique touch to the dining atmosphere. We were seated right away, the service was good, and the food was delicious, but took FOREVER to come out. If you don’t know what a dhaba is — it’s India’s equivalent of a “greasy spoon” diner, often catering to travelers and truckers with hearty comfort foods. Located in an old gas station this dhaba is as authentic as you can get outside of the South Asian subcontinent. It is also a real gas station and you can buy some Indian snacks to go. Regularly patronized by south Asian truckers, this spot unpretentiously welcomes all. “Tamir and the staff provided us with excellent customer service. They were always checking in on us to make sure everything was ok. We went there for our Anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect and delicious. We both ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich which came with a ton of fries. My wife had a drink called "A Peachy Day". She loved it. The dining area was very clean and updated. This is another restaurant that we will be returning to in the future.”

“Food is homemade and it’s sad to say but better than any home meal I had. The food is simply amazing, it is fresh and homemade with no GMOs. I grew up eating here and I grew taller than anyone in my family. I see people complain about the food how it went bad fairly quickly after taking it home. They clearly never had real food without the pesticides and gmos that make processed food last forever. You know the gmos that give you cancer? I guess those people want to die faster. Many people are naive and clearly stupid when they complain about that, but I would eat here at the Garlic Knot everyday if i could! The food is just too good not too. Crave it basically everyday!”

“I ordered the special, penne with clams and calamari. It was delish. The sauce..OMG and the size. I ate it 2 more nights. It came with a huge bowl of soup, I chose Minestrone, which I brought part of it home. My friend got the enormous salad and chicken marsala which came with 3 large pieces of chicken over pasta. She ate one and got a doggy bag, too. The food came out steaming hot. Can't wait to go back again. Our waitress, Joyce, was fabulous as always. “We visited here on a Saturday evening around 4 pm. I highly recommend reservations, especially on the weekends, as they did fill up pretty quickly. The Chicken marsala I ordered was very good! It came with your choice of pasta, and I chose angel hair. I also enjoyed the personal meat lovers pizza we ordered as an appetizer. My friend loved their Italian wedding soup and eggplant parm. Overall, our experience here was very good, and we would definitely visit again.”

“First time for me stopping here. I like that this place close to many long distance hiking/biking trails. Came in hankering for a good burger w fries. Found them having a rather wide selection, to choose from. Also craved a Heineken. Charming, friendly, helpful wait staff. Beer arrived perfectly chilled; not, too cold. Next, my dinner arrived, beautiful as ever.... n just as exciting on da pallette. Yumm. yumm.. yumm!Apparently, I was their first n only customer, for my time there. Peaceful can be a complementary embelishment to a long, busy day. Waitress inquired as to my satisfaction.... I had to confess, this dinner was so perfectly satisfactory, that I challenge chef to produce yet another, just like the first! Well, he sure did. And, me got another delightful Heineken to enjoy as much as the first. Sadly, I had to request my doggie bag, as it wouldn't all fit in my belly. I like this place, but I can't see em surviving on just one customer, getting treated almost like a king. But, that's the wonderment of a tiny, country restaurant........wondering if I should offer my ultimate BEST recipe for collard greens, to this chef¿? But, then who likes waiting in line, to get a table, eh?!”

“One server answered the phone, took everyone’s food orders, served food, and most everything else. The breakfast (eggs, hash browns or other potatoes, choices of meats and toasts) was good. It was fun listening to the many veterans discuss the wars during their times served. I would return any day to help support the small community business in the anthracite coal region, and a short distance from Citterio’s. A post office adjoins the small cafe’ restaurant. A full breakfast for under $10.”
