“Woods ice cream is awesome that have a very respectable staff and they keep their work slots open for young girls who are just learning to work and getting their work permits I think that is really cool. A service to the community ❤️☝️”
“Absolutely loved it! Staff was prompt and courteous, the cook even came out to make sure everything was good, cozy atmosphere, and the food was delicious for a very reasonable price! Our new regular spot after tonight!Kid-friendliness: They had a small but very wide array of food from just buttered noodles to burgers!”
“One server answered the phone, took everyone’s food orders, served food, and most everything else. The breakfast (eggs, hash browns or other potatoes, choices of meats and toasts) was good. It was fun listening to the many veterans discuss the wars during their times served. I would return any day to help support the small community business in the anthracite coal region, and a short distance from Citterio’s. A post office adjoins the small cafe’ restaurant. A full breakfast for under $10.”
“The roast beef and cheddar is fantastic. I never knew they had a restaurant, always had these sandwiches at the fair or food truck. I can, and do, enjoy them now whenever I want.Their breakfasts are also great. Beware of the three little pigs omelet, it's a gut buster. So yummy ?”
“First time customer but count on us being regulars!1. Ordered take out and the two team members I spoke to were super nice and friendly2. Food was ready timely / quick3. Portions were MASSIVE4. Food was delicious ? (I never finish my food and I ate my entire salad ?). My husband, super picky eater, also loved his food.If you haven't eaten here - give it a try.”
“Food is homemade and it’s sad to say but better than any home meal I had. The food is simply amazing, it is fresh and homemade with no GMOs. I grew up eating here and I grew taller than anyone in my family. I see people complain about the food how it went bad fairly quickly after taking it home. They clearly never had real food without the pesticides and gmos that make processed food last forever. You know the gmos that give you cancer? I guess those people want to die faster. Many people are naive and clearly stupid when they complain about that, but I would eat here at the Garlic Knot everyday if i could! The food is just too good not too. Crave it basically everyday!”

“Employees were kind and inviting, food was timely made and wasn't bad, I put mustard on it without thinking before I took the picture it was light on the chicken n broccoli sauce but the broccoli was beautifully "extra cooked" upon request. next time I will be asking for extra sauce on the chicken n broccoli but they did give me plenty of packets of sauce after i asked for them. I read allot of bad reviews but still gave this a chance, I do not regret it. Lunch under $10 without a drink or egg roll though no biggie. Pork fried rice has plenty of meat pieces as well #satisfied”
“We took a chance on this place during our road trip and it was absolutely delightful! Small little tavern with lots of character and very good food. The portions are very generous and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!”
“Rita's is the best quick stop you can make in your day. Aside from the ever so courteous staff, Rita's has an ever changing Italian Ice, with a flavor to satisfy everyone's palate. Couple that with your favorite custard and creat your own Gelato flavor. If you enjoy cordial cherries during the holidays, try chocolate custard with cherry Italian ice. To due for! Or chocolate custard with banana Italian ice for the best chocolate covered frozen banana ever (other than the original). So if you want to treat yourself to a flavorful treat stop at Rita's in the strip mall located inside Walmarts parking lot.”
“Wonderful service, food and atmosphere. Had Valentines dinner at Top of the 80's. Everything was fabulous including the price and to top it off I received a carnation with babies breath and two chocolate covered strawberries!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a lovely meal with spectacular views.”
“Best Cigar Pub is always a must stop for us, delicious food and beverages and let's not forget the WALK IN MONSTER HUMIDOR Where the Selection is mind-blowing. If you're not sure what to pick, they are more than willing to assist you to make a selection to your liking. From NJ and along with the countless Winery's we enjoy all seeking the Best Cigar it the absolute topping on a fantastic Poconos Weekend.”
“inexpensive food. nice small town feel. great service. lots to choose from. Hot dogs hamburgers cheesesteaks. Chicken tenders. Fish crab cakes clam strips shrimp. Pierogies French fries mozzarella sticks. and more!!”
“Nice deli in the heart of what appears to be an economically depressed White Haven, Pa. The roast beef sub I ordered was loaded to the gills with perfectly cooked beef and hotter than hades horsey sauce. The onions were full of flavor as well, an 8” master piece for only about $12. I ate it along the nearby D&L trail on a park bench close to the brand new comfort station and generous parking lot”
“This place is absolutely fantastic! They are so accommodating to bigger parties! My friends and I came in for a bachelor/bachelorette party, immediately they had tables put together for all of us! Service at the bar was amazing and so was the food truck! I would recommend it to anyone in general but especially for special events!”
“Great wings, I get the full pound order of the boneless Dog Bites, I get Hot Barbecue Garlic and it's to die for... Also the hand cut fries are the best fries I've had in a while, they taste amazing... Gotta try the BONELESS DOG BITES”
“Jireh is a great local spot in White Haven. Order from them frequently and they always have the orders ready, quick, friendly service. Definitely recommend for their lunch specials. The cheesesteak and antipasto are really good. You can never go wrong with a few slices of their pizza though. Thanks for the service!”
“This is a hidden gem. Best steak tacos ever and the margarita was out of this world. If I lived close I would go at least weekly. Service was fantastic! Very friendly people.”
“Omggggg if your looking for a great hoagie or deli meats you need to run here, teleport even ? it's that good there homemade bbq, ranch and the carrot cake omg to die for.”
“I always try to stop here for lunch when I’m in town. Love this place. Hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid and that’s what makes it so perfect! Comfort food at its best!”
“Brunched here while staying locally for a ski weekend. Awesome breakfast food for SUPER cheap. Massive brunch for 5 for $50 Great home style atmosphere with friendly service.”
“This spot is awesome. I would highly recommend ordering something to go if you're in a hurry, if not they have some tables in the other room that you're able to sit and enjoy the food hot and fresh! The team here is very kind and helpful. They gave me great recommendations for their freshly baked breads and jams, which were absolutely delicious!I can't wait to come back here. They are awesome!”
“Awesome breakfast! Very timely. Never let my coffee get cold. Food was very very good. Table of bff's next to me sharing mimosas. Another table of veterans enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to come back!!!”
“I went with some people to see a live band, and i had a great time. The bartender was nice, and the owner was awesome,& very friendly, and you will definitely enjoy it. I'm sure of it! The food is good, and it is also definitely worth checking out!Vegetarian options: They have food to accommodate vegetarians”
“I was fortunate enough to be introduced to this café by a Dominican coworker. Since moving to Hazleton I have been disappointed by the seemingly total lack of cafés in the area. I love it here! The coffee is delicious and everything is made fresh, not left out sitting in display cases. We also tried some pastolitos (honestly not sure how to spell that!), and they were excellent. The dining area is bright, comfortable, immaculately clean, and very welcoming. Highly recommended!”
“Very quaint, cute space. Lives up to the name of a "coffee bar". Was offered to have my coffee served in a glass, which was a brand new experience (there are also traditional to-go cups as well). There were two people ahead of me, and the wait time wasn't terrible, considering Dan, the owner, was the only one behind the counter at the time. He was really attentive to everyone who came in, stopping for a moment to acknowledge new patrons. His recommendation for a coffee from Honduras did not disappoint. It was very smooth and flavorful with no bitterness whatsoever. I paid $4.25 for a normal sized latte, which is cheaper than your Starbucks and Dunkin by a few bucks! All in all, really great experience. Nice folks, good coffee, good environment. Would strongly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of alternate milk options.Parking: Fairly small llot, but seems easy enough to find a spot even during the busier times.”
“Take a walk back in time to 1933. This place is a GEM. Small intimate bar and seating for 15. The phone rings non stop and the bartenders chirp orders into a microphone to the kitchen. Beer is fresh and ice cold and a steady stream of people come and go getting Pitza to go. We got a 12 cut half schamutz/Romano and half sausage hot peppers. The schamutz is flavorful and fresh tomatoes and pairs perfectly with the aged Romano. The sausage it shaved and the hot peppers have the right amount of spice and brine. Senapes in THE TRUTH.”
“best burger i’ve ever had in my life! wow! i’m just passing through, i wish i lived here. it was amazing. i eat out a lot and am very picky. this place is incredible.”
“Stopped in looking for a nice place to have breakfast with a nice atmosphere. Heard this place just started serving breakfast and decided to stop. Let me tell you this really hit the spot. The menu was so hard to chose from, everything seemed appealing. Did I want something to satisfy my early morning sweet tooth or something savory? I went for the Bobby D's special. It was recommended by my waitress, I believe her name was Kyrah. She was amazing! Very helpful, polite and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely go there again!”
“This is a lovely diner at the top of the Mtn in Freeland. We walked in and were seated right away. A lot of breakfast selections to choose from. We had the HeMan breakfast which came with 3 eggs, choice of meat, 2 pancakes, home fries or hash browns, toast, juice and coffee or tea. I ordered it because I like having a variety of foods to eat. I ate as much as I could but did not finish it. It was a lot of food for a very reasonable price and I will get it again because it was extremely tasty! Everyone we came across was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The parking lot isnt very large so try and come at a time that it might not be so crowded.”
