First time visitor. We were the only ones there. We ordered tequila sunrises which were really good. Then we split the pork tacos and the steak burrito. The burrito was good but the tacos were unbelievably dry. Before we ordered we asked the waitress to clarify pricing because the menu said $8/taco. We didn’t want to spend that much on one taco so we asked it’s for only 1? She said that 4 come with the plate. So we were like ok so it’s $8 for the 4 tacos? She said yes. We ate, got the bill and it was indeed $32 for 4 dry tacos..We told her we wouldn’t have ordered it if we were aware. She made it sound like the order is 4 tacos and it’s $8. I would never ever spend that much money on one taco. Very disappointing.

We were at Split Rock for a family reunion, and we had a group of 60 that arrived on a Friday night without reservations and the restaurant was so accommodating! They quickly moved tables and set us up in the front dining room. We had families coming in at different times and we created all sorts of chaos ? since we hadn’t seen each other in a long time. The head waitress was AMAZING! And the staff worked quickly to deliver our orders. The food and drinks were delicious and the portions were huge! The kids were also able to enjoy the beach area after dinner. FYI it is a now a Mexican restaurant not tavern food.

A hidden gem. The food was outstanding. I can still taste the charred Brussels sprouts w bacon/ feta cheeses drizzled w balsamic. The view of the lake was fantastic.
I had a great time, even if it was snowing lmao..Its just that relaxing vibe, with staff acting like whoever you are, you're family when you walk in.

We saw this place and decided to stop to eat. The food was delicious! My husband had some type of tuna with strawberry ceviche and I had a steak salad with ginger-miso dressing .
