We had a wonderful evening and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the food was. Our server was very nice and attentive, without being intrusive. Our food came out at a nice pace and cocktails were good. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We decided to give this place a shot and try it out, the server was good and attentive but nothing can make up for how bad the food was, I had spaghetti and white clam sauce a very simple dish to make and it looked like and tasted like a can of store bought clams sauce poured over some extremely over cooked pasta, my lady had scallops over pasta and the taste of fish base in that plate was unpalatable, the place is in a great location but the food is of a quality that is hard to explain and definitely by no means can you call this authentic Italian food its extremely poor quality food and all precooked.

Don't judge a book by its 1st chapter!!! We moved to the area and love Italian food so we thought to try Capri with a lake view. I opened the door and almost turned around, but as turned to what looked like a grand ballroom encapsulated in the era of dirty dancing time. I was stunned by the vintage lamps and lake view. The service was impeccable to use one word. And now to the best part the food. Delicious, yummy super cravable!!!!! Visit this spot you won't regret it!!!!!

We visited Capri for dinner after boating around the lake trying to find a restaurant to fit a large group. They told us that there was an even bigger party who had already been seated so it may take a while to get food, but we got seated.
It did take an hour and 45 minutes to get food, but we did have a great time. Heather, our server, kept it entertaining and regaled us with stories including playing wingwoman for her friend. The food was adequate.

As a disclaimer - the one star is related only to the treatment of this establishment as a restaurant. My understanding is this is an excellent local dive bar with great margaritas- allegedly because they use limes (see earlier reviews).
Restaurant wise - this eating, or rather existing, at Capri is like one long Nathan for you skit. It took about two hours to be served overpriced Costco pre made vodka sauce on penne, or overcooked somehow cinnamon tasting chicken Parmesan. The bread is heated up white bread from a package. And the salad is really a few pieces of lettuce with two delicate drops of some ranch like sauce.
All of that in mind, the waitresses were lovely, and used the trapped and hungry customers as a perhaps unwilling practice audience for their moonlighting stand up routines. To be fair - we overall had a blast, once we realized we were not at a restaurant but at the mercy of some lake sprites preying on out of towners.
While I would never recommend this place to a friend (perhaps an enemy), I am thankful for this evening, as it provided an excellent story to tell to friends the next day.

I would recommend this place. Hands down top 3 best margaritas in the world the bartender made with lime in it. We started off with italian clams. It was amazing. The sauce was so good i kept dipping the bread in there sauce to eat it. I had lasagna. It was good but it had a small taste of sweetness. Some may like it and some don’t. My fiance had sea scallop with linguine in a garlic broth. It was good as well

The linguini with white clam sauce was outstanding! Jerry, the owner, was personable and has many fun stories to tell! Bring your friends and family and enjoy!

The family has always had great food. The service is very good. Love it
Yes, the place needs updating, but Lake Wallenpaupack is right outside the window. The red pepper appetizer was different and tasty. I enjoyed the Penne ala Vodka, and my friend said the Veal Parm easily passed her "restaurant test". We both agreed the sauces were delicious and portions plentiful. As you can see, we left no crumb behind and took home enough for two more meals - always a plus. Service was terrific: instantly greeted at the door, waitress very attentive, pleasant and helpful. Easy to see why this place has been around for decades.

Veal parm and stuffed salmon were top notch. Heavy pours and great service. They get all the little stuff right. Dont worry about the decor its all about the view and the food.
