I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. I'm pretty upset I missed my chance at the full dining experience, but I'm glad I was about to at least try out the Lounge before they closed. My date and I decided to go all out, and we ordered at least half of the total food menu and most of the cocktails. We loved every bit of it. The cocktails that stood out to me the most were the Black Smoked Manhattan and the Cachaça Beet Fizz. My top three dishes were the Pork Loin & Belly, the Morel Fettuccine (with Summer Truffle added), and the French Apple Cake.Overall, it was a fun, relaxed, yet elegant experience for both of us. We hate to see the restaurant go, and we can only hope that the next place provides a similar, elevated experience.

Food is pretty good. Cocktails were nice. Decor however is way over the top and the service feels a bit heavy-handed. When I go to a restaurant, I like to feel as though I'm being taken care of and not neglected. But, when you have a server/host checking in numerous times and every turn you make, it starts to feel a bit much. Maybe it's just me, but if the food is good, and the staff are attentive, you can let the experience breathe a little.

This was our first visit to Amorette. We had just learned that the restaurant is changing ownership after June 25th. Hope the new owner is able to maintain the same level of quality and service.

This was an amazing experience for my wife and I. So sorry we didn't find it sooner. This was the boost we needed at just the right time. We have dined all over the country and I can tell you it rivals the best of Manhattan or San Francisco, no question. If you want a custom dining experience right here in Lancaster do not hesitate. The service, the ambience, the flavors will blow you away as it did us. We had the 4 course, plus delicious cocktails, flavors that were new to us. We will be back for our anniversary this year.

Went here for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. Food and ambience was excellent. The host really set the tone with his warm smile as we entered the restaurant. The Old Fashioned I had to start was the best I've ever tried. Food was superb! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a special and memorable night out.

Very enjoyable although I would have liked to have had a review of the food being served by the server rather than just reading it on the menu. Also, it would be helpful if substation were permitted.

The food was outstanding, as usual. Service was professional yet sanguine - all three of us felt very special because of the staff's attentiveness; they were never intrusive. Yes: another winner of a dinner - my husband, our friend and I already look forward to the next dining experience at Amorette.

We came here for our 10th Anniversary and it could not have been more splendid. I will be raving about this restaurant for quite a while. Everything was exquisite from the moment we walked in, the food, libation, the conversations, the chefs, the flowers and many kind congratulations on our anniversary. The details and great care came even before we stepped in the restaurant with a call of introduction after making the reservation. We were truly made to feel very special on this occasion. The food was phenomenally prepared, plated and well portioned for us. I feel fortunate to experience this kind of cuisine and team here in Lancaster. For today, worth. every. penny. I hope to be back.

Food was delicious, we didn't realize we were getting into a big hoity-toity place and it was extremely expensive. We later found out they shut down that same week but we don't know why.

Enjoyed less than 1/2 of the dishes. Great wine sommelier. He made the meal much better. You start with some bread and butter, butter was very good and flavorful, but bread itself was very dry. The flavor in the scallop dish was delicious and it was cooked perfectly. Following that is a soft shell crab dish. There seemed to be a little too much going on and they reused the seaweed foam that was in the scallop dish. After was the Lamb Tartare. It tasted like I was just taken out of the freezer. The mustard ice cream was good but the tartare itself tasted frozen and flavorless. They came out with a palate cleanser which was a sorbet that included pop rocks...I guess if I was a child I would have enjoyed it. For the main course we had Elk Tenderloin. One of the dishes was cooked perfectly, the sauce complimented the elk along with the crispy layered potato. My dish on the other hand had an over cooked tenderloin. They took 3 tries until it was cooked to the temperature needed. We were both excited for dessert. Our server described it as integrating the spring flavor from a flower garden. It was exactly that if you were going for the natural dirt taste from the garden. We took a few bites and pushed our dishes to the side; the server came to pick it up and did not question or full dessert plate. So overall the tasting menu was not up to what we were expecting. I would recommend coming and doing a la carte. We were so excited to try this place but were sorely disappointed.

Amorette was a fantastic experience. Everything from the cocktails to the desserts was handcrafted to perfection and completely unique. The presentation of the food was one of a kind and I highly recommend keeping your camera handy to take pictures.

This restaurant is the real deal. Compared to the Eater spots in Boston and Philadelphia, the quality and price were as good or better than any of the competition. The course were delicious but also challenging, with unexpected flavor profiles. The staff were incredibly attentive. Don't go here if you want a typical steak, scallops or charred Brussels sprouts. The menu was an aggressive set of course punctuated but mustard ice cream, elk, smoky whisky donuts. A truly unique and extraordinary experience.
