We live in Los Angeles. We were visiting family in Philly and came to Lancaster for the day on a Monday when most of the restaurants were closed. Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. First time coming here, and I loved it!!! The vibe was awesome, as I am someone who is more into darker vibes, and the bartender who waited on me was super cool and friendly. Will definitely come back again!
We came up from Baltimore to try this place and we’re very pleased. The food was amazing and the cocktails, we had a few, were very creative and tasty and of course the decor is really cool. I would definitely make this drive again to go here.
