Unfortunately this Applebees has gone down hill. Long wait times and just a lot of employees standing around. It wasn’t even busy. Sad.

We ordered quesadilla burger, Cajun salmon and the chicken tacos the food was delicious just I had to ordered a side of mashed potatoes because the one on my plate was enough. ?Also our server was KYLE excellent server.

My family and I were in town for the weekend and decided to eat here. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The food was good but the server Constance M was phenomenal. She was pleasant, kind and very knowledgeable. She was fast and had the best attitude that I have encountered in a while. This was a good choice and if I am in the area again in the future I will definitely return…. Thank you Constance M for an awesome experience…..
I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, UPON ENTERING THE STORE YOU SEE ALL THE STAFF WHO ARE SERV SAFE CERTIFIED, I WAITED TOO LONG FOR MY FOOD, I HAD TOO KEEP ASKING FOR PLASTIC UTENSILS., EACH AND EVERYWAITER SERVED NOT JUST MY FOOD BUT ALL THE OTHER TABLES WITH THEIR THUMBS IN THE PEOPLE PLATES, THEIR WAS ONE FEMALE WAITRESS WHO SERVED THE CUSTOMERS CORRECTLY. I WENT TOO APPLEBEE'S ACROSS NEXT TO TEXAS ROADHOUSE AND NOT FAR FROM TANGER OUTLETS IN READING/LANCASTER P.A.DATE OF VISIT 4/4/24 @ 5:00 P.M. MY WAITER WAS VICTOR(PRETTY RICKEY). PLEASE INSTRUCT YOUR EMPLOYEES ON HOW TO SERVE PEOPLE, OF COURSE NO ONE KNEW I WAS FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT/ ECOSURE!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

I just want to start off by writing that im not expecting super fancy food at a Applebee's, but I at least expect something decent.That being said, The food here was not good at all. I ordered a sirloin, and I wanted it cooked Medium well. I got it Medium Rare. Which normally i don't mind, but it had no flavor. The seaoning was just not there, and it tasted as if it was cooked in burnt butter. I added shrimp to my order, and the shrimp was overcooked, and rubbery. It also had that taste as if cooked in burnt butter.I got the garlic mashed potatoes, and they had no flavor of anything not even a hint of garlic. It was super dry. It tasted like boxed mashed potatoes. I had brocoli, and it was super dry. It tasted like old brocoliWe also ordered chicken broccoli Alfredo, and it was in the same category. It tasted old, dry, and no flavor. My wife couldnt even eat it on how bad it tasted.I normally don't trash talk a place because I know people have off days, but because we spent almost $60 bucks on this nasty food I had to write this review. We are not coming back to this place again. This is the 3rd time we gave it a shot, and its just not worth spending money on garbage food.The only good thing about our visit was the waitress. She was great.This was the most disappointing meal we ever had. Literally the most disappointing. I really should've asked for our money back, especially since we couldn't even eat it.

Was in the area to eat at a restaurant next door to Applebee's (TexRH). Wait time was 1 1/2 hours. I Let my wife talk me into Applebee's. I was in the mood for a good steak and baked potato. First thing is, apparently Applebee's doesn't know what a baked potato is. If you order a steak, you get a small scoop of garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered the shrimp/steak combo. The shrimp were a joke, and the steak wasn't much. The waiter was terrible. Didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered with me. I finished my first beer right as I was getting my food. I asked for another beer, and it seemed to aggravate the waiter. I finished eating my meal (what little there was of it). Still no beer. I decided to go to the bar and ask for a beer. The bartender asked me if I was sitting at a table. When I told him yes, he gave me the beer for free. (The only good thing that happened) No more Applebee's for me ever again. Maybe if you want a sandwich or something but not for me. Never again. No need to respond to this review Applebee's because even if you offered me a free meal I would say NO THANKS.
