Bert and The Elephant has great service, but the vibe is what really makes it special. It truly feels like you’re in Belgium! The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. Then to make it better me and him were born in the same town in a whole different country across the world, such a small world.

Bert’s restaurant was fantastic! Service was great. We had a party of 7 and the food and drinks came out very quickly, every order was correct and the food was delicious! Bert is a very attentive owner. He stopped at our table numerous times to check on us. Will definitely return when in the area.
Amazing place, with a passionate owner who clearly loves what he’s doing. First visit he was the one to greet us and tell us about the place! Have been back multiple times and it’s always excellent. Great addition to Lancaster’s downtown bar scene!
