Diyo is a fantastic spot for authentic Nepalese food in Lancaster. I tried the samosas chat, sel roti, and the samay baji. The portions were generous and every dish was FULL of flavor and delicious.
What stood out most was how satisfying yet light the food felt, flavorful without being heavy. The staff was attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Diyo is a great place to explore Nepalese cuisine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. The best part is how affordable the menu is, which makes it easy to sample and share a variety of dishes…definitely take advantage of that!!

Great restaurant and experience! Everything we got was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and attentive.
I got a Bhutuwa Chicken dish, and it was so flavorful and good. I asked for medium spice, and it was pretty spicy! But the dish was so good, and even my picky husband loved it.
We got two soups, both of which were delicious and flavorful. And the naan was really good, soft, and a great value.
Even the complimentary appetizer of the fried crunchy sticks and sauce was unique and so good, and it tasted homemade.
Everything was great here and we'd definitely go back. This was one of our favorite Indian/Nepali restaurants so far.

We really enjoyed this restaurant and highly recommend it. This was our first time trying Nepalese food and we were not disappointed. I would absolutely order the naan, roti, momos (Nepalese dumplings), and the Nepalese soup. There were some familiar spices, but the flavors still seemed unique. The soup was the highlight for me and I would definitely order it again and again. The staff was friendly, helpful, and service was fast. Prices were very reasonable and I left thinking I would have paid more elsewhere. It was a great experience and is easy to recommend.

I love Nepali food, especially Momo, but this felt more like a frozen Chinese dumpling. There was neither taste nor authenticity. The service also needs improvement—they should serve with a smile. The staff did not seem welcoming at all, and it felt like they were working forcefully. highly not recommended at all .

The food was delicious, and our table shared about 10 dishes between 7 people so we had a good sampling. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

The food is reasonably priced and very good. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and inviting. We ordered take out, they took our number and we got a text to come get it after walking around the block. It was ready within 10 mins and they gave us an extra item for free which was carrot pudding and it was amazing. They earned a new customer. Loved the experience

Great Nepali restaurant at Lancaster and also has some newari dishes. Food overall good. Staff are very courteous. Location is central. I tried daily buffet which was appropriate for the price range. Tea on the small pot was very nice. Also they have nepali selroti. Overall it is must try place.
We decided to try Diyo based on the reviews and ordered several dishes as take out for my older son's birthday. SO SO GOOD! The chicken and vegetable fried momo and chicken chow mein were crowd favorites. The garlic Naan was soft and warm and wonderful. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. The ability to adjust spiciness was a huge plus for someone who tends to be timid about spice (me). We are already studying the menu to figure out what to try next time!

Delicious, well-prepared food. Great prices. Pleasant atmosphere. Good variety - plenty to choose from for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Be aware that “medium” spicy is pretty hot, so if uncertain, order “mild”. Highly recommend!

Everything on this menu is so delish. When we order we literally just pick whatever random thing we haven’t tried yet and it doesn’t disappoint. Seriously love this place. We slept on it too long.

As an Indian, Food was incredibly good for how cheap the buffet was, only $10. Staff were nice, and the atmosphere was modern with calm Nepali music

It appears that there is room for improvement in the authenticity of the Nepali test. Specifically, the momos seem to lack the intended flavor profile, and the chutney could be enhanced with a more pronounced taste. Although the service is satisfactory, there is potential for further refinement. While a return visit is desired, it is dependent on enhancements to both the taste and service.
