Eat here almost everyday! Food and Service are great!
I really enjoy the terrace. I have been quite a few times, however, we were just denied entry due to us being with my 11 year old. Denying families in a establishment before 7pm?! Disappointed 😕
Mothers day we were told there was a very limited menu. This wasn't mentioned when we made the reservations two weeks prior. Appetizers ( just 2) both contained seafood as did the soup. Salads were limited . Entrees were as is. Meaning you could not choose any vegetable. So if you didn't like seafood or vegetarian you had to have asparagus. The Imperial Restaurant offers a dining experience with exceptional food and service, though some diners noted high prices and small portions. The food is very good, with standout dishes like duck breast, described as amazing with beautiful texture and crispy skin, and scallops that are fresh, sweet, and tender. Other praised meals include melt in your mouth filet, Milanese style pork chop, salmon with Millet Cake, Duck Fries, and Brussels sprouts that are out of this world. Some meals, such as four scallops on a bed of tapioca and peas, were considered beyond outrageous for the price. Portion size is small on some meals. Service is exceptional, with servers like KC providing fantastic service and Selina being excellent and very attentive. However, one family felt rushed to leave after a $600 dinner when a glass of wine, a Captain and Coke, and a Beet drink were removed from the table. Despite this, many guests would definitely come back and recommend the restaurant for its great food and lovely service, especially for the duck.
