“My husband and I used Upohar for our wedding. The food was sooooo good and we still have guests talking about some of the dishes! We had a combination of Peruvian, West African and Lao dishes. We recommend Upohar to anybody wanting delicious food at their wedding. The service and care they put into our whole experience was wonderful as well!“

“Not too bad of an American restaurant. However, I wouldn't classify this place as a fine dining restaurant. If at most, it's a higher end casual restaurant. The food was above average as well as the service, but it wasn't amazing at the same time. Overall, a 4/5 experience. Cheers.“

“We came across Amaranth Bakery at a festival recently. They had quite a selection of GF vegan options available. The brownies were the absolute best that we’ve had. Amaranth knows how to bake!“

“Nicole has to be one of the nicest clerks I have ever met in a store, always willing to go the extra mile and when she found out, I drove all the way from Baltimore to come to the store. She gave me her number and said to call her when I am headed there and she will make me up a fresh batch of my favorite pralines. She really does go the extra mile and I look forward to coming back to see you all during the holidays. Your pralines are made exactly the way my grandmother used to make them and I can’t wait to share them with the rest of my family. Thank you Nicole for being. “We stopped by on Saturday night. What a pleasure upbeat music playing and hands down the best cocktails. We had dinner prior to stopping by but can’t wait to go back to have dinner. A must stop for a cocktail!“

“Wonderful food, fast service and our server was great too. We dined outside and it started to rain a little and she offered us to come inside. We declined and she quickly got us boxes and our checks. The girl at the gelato- not pleasant at all. I sampled two, decided on 1 and then she says to me “the blue mat is down by the bar”. ?? I replied, what am I supposed to do with that. Apparently that is where you now pay for gelato which is not where I paid when I was there 3 months ago. She was rude to previous customer too.“

“we stopped here for brunch on our way home from Hersheypark. We ordered takeout and the wait was only 25 minutes around 11:30 on a Sunday. We got each of the vegan burritos and shared. As well as a vegan banana chai bread and a vegan brownie. I preferred the potato burrito, but my husband preferred the vegan sausage & egg burrito. I would have enjoyed the sausage burrito better if it wasn’t so wet and juicy. You couldn’t tell it was aioli because there was so much hot liquid inside. Also, one side was grilled to a crisp while the other side was doughy. (The egg and sausage were cooked very nicely though) The potato burrito was much more cohesive and had way better overall texture and was consistently grilled. And I appreciated the extra punch of flavor that came from the bell peppers. I couldn’t really tell there was aioli on this either. (Maybe it’d be better on the side and dipped) The chai banana bread was phenomenal! It had a coffee cake type of crumble on top, and the texture was consistent throughout. (There was a teeeeny bit of gumminess as you chew it up, but it wasn’t a problem.) The brownie is definitely NOT a brownie. It’s 100% chocolate cake. (Tasty chocolate cake, but disappointing if you were expecting a brownie. It’s crumbly and fluffy, not dense at all.) we ate half on sunday, wrapped it back up and when i went to take a photo on Monday morning, it was already showing initial signs of mold on top. That was the 6th, but the package says it would be good until the 9th. It also didn’t say to refrigerate, and I didn’t think 1 day on the counter would have been a problem (most muffins and cakes do just fine on the counter for a day). But apparently it was a problem? I picked those tiny bits off and still ate it. It was still tasty… chocolate cake, lol. We sat at the little bistro tables outside at just the right time, because when noon rolled around, the sun peeked around the building and started beating down. No awning or umbrellas in sight.“

We loved the staff who were very welcoming and engaging. We received recommendations and tastings! Best of all, the prices are reasonable. “I wish I could tag every sandwich shop in Lancaster, so they could know where the best sandwiches are made. Take notes. I went here on a whim, and let me tell you. The Zesty Jack was unbelievable.
