I get takeout from Highland from time when I am down that way for my regular chiropractic appointments (my chiropractor is right next door over at Universal Athletic Club). My absolute favorite is the Highland Special Pizza, which is basically like a supreme pizza. I can say hands-down that is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my 46 years on this earth. My husband and I come to Highland often, but the most recent was Saturday night when they have live music! The food is fantastic, the drinks are made well, and the music has always been good. There are tv's mounted with sports playing, a wide selection of beers and liquor. The service is top notch. We love it!
Somewhat understaffed. One server was taking care of the bar and tables. Food was decent but it took a while for a salad and pizza. Not a bad place if they figure out the staffing issue.
