In business for nearly thirty years, Lancaster Brewing Company has the brewpub concept down pat. The atmosphere is casual (albeit potentially fairly loud), and the dining area offers a view of the brewery tanks. Speaking of the beer, there are quite a few varieties to choose from – everything from nitro stouts to peanut butter ales — and LBC offers flights for those who want to try it all. The food selections are equally impressive. While you can find the requisite wings/burger/pizza here, LBC also defies expectations by offering up white chili or a chicken, leek, and lager pie.
My wife and I split an order of teriyaki fried cauliflower, a braided soft pretzel, and a burger meister and found the food to be very good. The cauliflower featured thick breading and a sweet teriyaki glaze. I could have eaten an entrée’s worth of it and have been satisfied. The pretzel was warm and pulled apart easily. Rather than being accompanied by separate cheese and mustard dips, its partner was a blend of beer cheese and mustard, strongly flavored but tasty if you don’t mind mustard. The burger featured fresh ground bratwurst, something that will leave you wondering where it was all your life. The accompanying fries were natural-cut, salty, and crisp.
While our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, she vanished toward the end, and we were in for a wait to get our checks. LBC isn’t cheap for what it offers - $13 for the cauliflower, $16 for the burger – but the portions are at least sizeable.
If you want good beer, good food, and a dash of the unexpected, Lancaster Brewing Company is a very appealing option as long as you have the patience for high volume and a bit of a wait.

Went last nite 11/29/24. Had grilled chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, salad. It was all really good. Bartender guy did good job keeping up with busy seating. I would recommend this based on my visit. Atmosphere is bar type, but it was good, and a neat building it's in.
Parking: Parking can be tricky if their one open lot is full. You'll have to find a spot (very small) on the street.

Our bartender Sean was the MVP of the night! He was funny, super attentive, and just an all-around legend. Somebody get this guy a hefty raise—and maybe a cape—because he’s the hero we didn’t know we needed. Sean, you’re the best, my dude!

Very nice place. Good price for great food. Food came out in good time despite how busy it was. Outdoor seating is good. Highly recommend
Parking: There is a parking lot outside the building, but most of the time you have to find street parking

From when I reached out to set up a goodbye party to the day it came— everyone was terrific!
I had a group of 30+ people for a coworker goodbye party and they were able to give us a private room, efficient and FAST service.
It was a little hectic when it came to the bills but the servers had a smile on their face the whole time and were very attentive.
Also their chicken bacon ranch pizza is amazing.
Thank you so much for an awesome time and making the night smooth and memorable!!

Hunter’s service was the best part of my experience. He was so personable, nice, and attentive. Will return specifically because of the experience Hunter provided me and my family while we were there.

We came in last Saturday at 2:30pm and left at 9:30pm. From the moment we entered the brewery we felt welcomed by everyone.
I was there with my husband to meet my sister whom I never knew existed for the first time in 54 years. We were both adopted out of Canada and found each other through Ancestry. We had an unforgettable time that night thanks to the staff but especially to LINDSEY our waitress who was PHENOMENAL. When she found out about our circumstances for meeting she was ESTACTIC for us and made sure our experience there was EXTREMELY MEMORABLE and UNFORGETTABLE.
We will definitely be back to LANCASTER BREWERY as this is where our SISTERLY JOURNEY BEGAN!!!
Thanks again,
Mary, LaRae, and Craig

Always loved going to Harrisburg Lancaster Brewing. Good food and beer at that one. We came to this one for the first time and loved it. Bartender Friday afternoon was absolutely amazing. Great personality and knowledge of the beers. They had an insane amount of good beers on tap, and always love their seltzer. This time it was a pomegranate one that was great. Would have gotten it to go, but didn’t have it in cans (small fridge at hotel wouldn’t support a growler). However, we did get both their barrel aged beers to go! Didn’t try the food this time, but will for sure next time we visit!! They had some great affordable weekday happy hour food specials. Oh, they now have spirits too!! Pretty good and well priced at bar. However, a bit pricy to buy a bottle to go. Nephew had to have a bottle of the whiskey though, so you know it was good!!

We stopped here on a quick visit to town trying to entertain our kid on a week between summer camp and start of school. Everyone was super nice, food came out quickly and was delicious. Also enjoyed the beer selection. Would definitely stop back here if visiting town again. They also have a kids menu which is great if you have a small human.

Had a great time, waitress was excellent and food was good! But then I tried to buy beer to go. Lady bent my ID and ruined it and wouldn’t accept my ID. I’m definitely not under 21 thanks. Never had that happen before and penndot printed my ID.
