Loxley's Restaurant and Patio Bar - Lancaster

We came to Loxley’s for our daughter’s 21st birthday. Very disappointed as follows:
The waitress introduced herself without a smile and she looked miserable. We were never served water, wine glasses were dirty the waitress did go back to get them new ones (still dirty) as well the silverware. Two family members show up 10 minutes later, she never acknowledged them to ask them what they wanted to drink. My sister opened her napkin and a blond hair fell out of it. We ordered to drinks a Piña Colada which tasted like lime and the strawberry daiquiri tasted awful. After waiting a hour the waitress finally came to take our food order, one of our family members mentioned dietary restrictions she just turned around and left. How disrespectful. She After 45 minutes we still didn’t have our food. Needless to say we ended up leaving.

We sat for an hour before being ask about food. But the biggest issue was the dishes and the drinks from the bar. The wine glasses were dirty, piña colada tasted like lemon and the wine was nasty. I would not recommend going.

The inside of the tree house was covered in cobwebs, club soda was flat, cottage pie and crab dip were swimming in grease (which made my husband ill for the rest of the evening), and the pesto sauce in the pasta was bland. Not the same place as it was over 10 years ago. Will not return, especially at those prices for food that was below standards.

Amazing! So many good options on the menu and fairly priced. The building was beautiful and set an amazing ambiance. Our server was very sweet and the food came out quickly. Oh and super cute fish pond with a beautiful waterfall.

Met our son and his girlfriend for dinner at Loxley's.
As always, plenty of parking. We were hoping to eat outside but the weather prevented that.
The nice thing is that inside the restaurant it was quiet enough to permit conversation.
Olyvia, our server, was excellent, very friendly and professional and understood we wanted a leisurely dinner.
Cheese curds appetizer was excellent and a great size for sharing. We all ordered different dishes, all excellent and large enough portions to take home half.
Very extensive beer list as well.
Just a very pleasant experience.

It's been five years since I was utterly ignored at our table for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us.

So I thought, surely this could not happen twice.

It indeed happened twice, nearly 20 minutes waiting for service just to end up leaving and passing two servers just yucking it up with the manager.

Tl;DR unless you have four hours to kill, don't bother.

The crab dip was great! The French dip was mediocre. The service was an absolute mess. 3 different servers trying to manage a single table creates obvious issues. We got incorrect drinks to start, then the kids got the wrong food, then I got the wrong side. Its so close to being a great place but needs some work.

Our sever was awesome and very professional but that guy Matthew, was rude to our server right in front of us while he was checking on us.. very unprofessional and rude to your guests

Was just in Loxley’s, the food was great and our server Jackson was absolutely amazing and very attentive. But the reason for only leaving two stars is because the manager Matthew came up to our server while he was checking on us and was very rude to him telling him to walk away from us and check on another table he had already greeted.

Always a good choice for dinner and drinks. The outdoor seating is so unique and perfect on a nice evening. Good live music too. Had the best server last night-thank you Joey, you were a delight!

The breakfast buffet has tons of bacon. The items are NOT AVAILABLE everyday. Potatoes, no matter how prepared we're always cold. And some not even done.
The majority did not enjoy dinner. We had One on a special diet. The kitchen did offer to prepare something fresh. And they did that. However, the meat item tasted like vinegar.
I would not try to deter anyone from eating in this restaurant. Your personal taste is your personal taste. The service and staff were great. The The restaurant is very clean.

Ordered the Salmon and it was green which means it's spoiled. Chef came out and told me that they order it fresh every day which is great unless it's spoiled. Very disappointed
