This was a surprise find, I met with some friends before going to Field of Screams and we had apps, dinner and some drinks. The food was great and there was a huge variety of tasty beverages to select from. It's a pretty cool setup also with their indoor/outdoor bar area. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

Place looks awesome, it's not though! Service was the slowest and least attentive I've ever had at a restaurant. Food was OK, fries were cold. 30 mins for someone to take a drink order 30 mins for food then we got fed up waiting for the check, threw cash on the table and left. Aggravating experience, will not be back.

Our experience was disappointing to say the least. The start of a girls weekend, we were looking forward to a nice meal. However, walking into Loxley’s was the least bit nice. We made a reservation online, when we got there the hostess asked us “are you sure you made a reservation with us?” So we showed her the picture of the online reservation confirmation. The hostess told us that the online system “messes up sometimes” and didn’t have our reservations. Luckily they had a table to seat us or we would have been SOL. When we finally sat, the glasses were FILTHY. you could actually see lip stains from other people on it. The service took forever. Our appetizers and dinner came right on top of each other. And our drinks came after dinner was served. The bar drinks were awful. At the end of the meal, during dessert, the FIRE ALARMS went off and no one knew what was going on. No instructions were giving to vacate, and the business went on as usual until someone from our table got up and asked what was going on????? Then staff told us “no need to worry false alarm” after 5 mins of the alarm blaring. When we left, 3 fire trucks, a cop, and an ambulance all showed after they said it was a false alarm? Overall. Awful experience. Awful food. Awful service. We’ll never go back.
While all of the staff were friendly and helpful, our server Matt made the evening for us! Our party of 20 all enjoyed the evening. Thanks Matt! We will definitely be back!

Joy is an absolute pleasure and made us feel right at home. To echo her sentiment, if more people came in and sat down to eat a home cooked meal, the world would be a better place - ESPECIALLY if Joy was serving. Wonderful food, drinks, atmosphere.

We had a great meal!! Primerib was one of the best I've ever had. The server was lacking. He was more concerned on the bigger tables than out small table of 2.

We were there for a reunion
Went with our group of 31 and had prepaid buffets and it was NOT good the desert for the group was tasteless vanilla icecream! The tea and lemonade was awful! I Ordered the bread pudding and it was VERY DRY and TASTELESS! Praline ice-cream was delicious! Best part of the visit was seeing the coy pond!!

We visited recently, and from the start, they seemed off track with service. The place wasn't very busy either. We were seated and waited several minutes until a server showed up for our drink order. Then, we waited again until she reappeared to get our dinner order. I asked for a side salad with Caesar dressing, and I got a Caesar salad his would have been wrong had she not said Caesar salad. I should have questioned her further. My dinner wasn't hot, his was ok. Service was terrible. She really just didn't listen. This was our first and probably last time there.

First time to the place last weekend, when my wife and I went up for the Renaissance Fair. This place is unbelievably great. The food was fantastic and very well priced. The meatloaf is perfect. My wife had a burger with the gluten free bun, which she loved. We also had their breakfast buffet the next morning and everything was fantastic, they have a good spread from 2 different types of eggs, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, home fries, waffles, bagels, toast, muffins and fruit. I'm sure i missed something. The whole restaurant and bar have a great atmosphere. The entire staff were very nice and very good at what they do. We wish we had a longer stay but we will definitely be back.
Dietary restrictions: They do have Gluten free options, so I'm sure they can work with dairy issues as well.

We were a group of ten for dinner tonight. Everyone was very welcoming. Our server, Kristen, was wonderful! We asked for recommendations on what to order. She touched on something from each category (salad, sandwich, entrée, etc.) Many went with her recommendations....everyone enjoyed their meal. Looking forward to gathering there again in November! Thank you, Kristen & Loxley's!

I like the food. Only the front desk staff should be more friendly. Customers are going to pay for their food, not order it from them.
