I hope they got rid of the roach infestation from when it was Nameste. I got deathly sick from this place years ago. Disappointed to see the same people running this place.

We are at Indian Curry lounge in Lancaster and you can tell the love in cooking and feel the difference in the staff. Great lit environment 😃
Recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian food. Stir fry with shrimp to die for chilly chicken couldn't get enough. Thank you for such a great experience.

did they get an unbelievably bad health report and then change the name of the restaurant?

I went to their grand opening and such a great experience. Coming from the hospitality industry, I understand how big of an undertaking a grand opening cab be. The staff serving our table were amazing. The dancer and 360 camera was such a fun addition to make the night much more enjoyable.

Ordered to close by the board of health due to an imminent health hazzard. Violations to include: Lack of managerial control, roach infestation too many to count throughout to include kitchen, dining area, hallway, stairway, downstairs kitchen, inside of dishwasher, dishwasher was also filthy with buildup dead roaches and food residue, unhygienic practices, no paper towels at handwashing sinks, unsafe food storage, moldy ice maker, date marking issues, household insecticides used, gnat infestation, no sanitizer test strips, general unsanitary conditions.... Should be called NASTY Restaurant and Bar....

Observed roaches of all life stages in the dining area, the kitchen, inside cooling units, in door hinges, in drawers, inside containers holding utensils, inside unprotected
single-use to-go containers, in the hallway, the stairwell, on the walls in the stairwell, inside the mechanical parts of the dishwasher, in the guides for the sliding doors to
the dishwasher, the downstairs kitchen, on the floors in all areas, on tables downstairs, and on walls above the 3-compartment sink.
Reviewed pest control logs which confirmed today's findings.

I used to order from this restaurant a lot a couple of years ago. However, I am very disappointed with my recent experience. We ordered Chana Masala, Butter Chicken, Samosas, and Garlic Naan. The biggest disappointment was that the Chana Masala was spoiled—it was extremely sour and curdled. It was disgusting, to say the least, and completely disappointing for a place like Namasta.

After that, I lost my appetite. Even when I tried the Butter Chicken, I couldn’t tell if it was sour or spoiled because I was already so disgusted and on the verge of throwing up from the Chana Masala.

I would strongly suggest avoiding this restaurant if you don’t want to risk getting sick.

Worst food ever. I can’t believe that Indian food can be prepared in such a worst way. You are a Nepalese restaurant and you don’t know how to make chicken chow min and chili chicken momo. Even I can make much better. If you don’t know the basics like tandoori chicken it’s better shut down the restaurant. It’s a waste waste of $70.

I'm not giving them three stars because they're bad. I'm giving them three stars because they're inconsistent.

You might get the best Indian food in Lancaster. You also might be better off getting something frozen from Costco. You never know which you're going to get.

Sometimes the food is perfect. Sometimes the spice level is inedible and you asked for mild or medium. Sometimes the chicken is moist, sometimes it's bone dry. Sometimes vegetables are perfect, others they're basically raw.

If they could be consistently as good as they can be it'd be 6/5. But right now it's takeout roulette.

The food was very nice, also the staff was great and very nice. The food came out very quickly. And the atmosphere was really nice and the decorations were very good.

Rude staff parked in front of my driveway blocking me in and I had to argue with them to get them to move their catering van. If this is how they treat the general public how do they treat customers???
