The Plough is a popular restaurant in downtown Lancaster, known for its relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. The menu offers delicious dishes, with the Plough burger and chili flake fries being a standout choice. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide great recommendations and make the dining experience enjoyable. Guests appreciate the delicious whipped feta dip and the table bread with tahini butter, and the focaccia was delicious. The apple & goat cheese stuffed squash hit the taste buds with lovely surprises, a creative use of ingredients. The curried lamb lo mein was another winner. Drinks were great, the Fashion was a nice spin on the classic Old Fashion, and it did not disappoint, fabulous! However, service can sometimes be slow, and wait times may be longer than expected. Despite these issues, the food, especially the burger and fries, remains excellent, and the overall pleasant and welcoming atmosphere makes it a good place for special occasions or family dinners.
