I have been going to the Ephrata location for years and love their cupcakes. My first visit to this location and sadly will not be back. Cupcakes were so DRY! Icing was hard and just tasted old. Cupcakes from Ephrata have always been so moist and fresh, not sure what is happening in Lancaster?? We had cupcakes ordered both here and Ephrata on the same day for a party due to different flavors available and everyone could tell a drastic difference. All the one's from the Lancaster location got thrown away as they were inedible. (And they were eaten within an hour of delivery so it's not like they were sitting around for days!) Based on other reviews this was not a fluke, are you using old cupcakes here?? Will only travel to the Ephrata location from now on even though this one is closer!

This is my favorite little breakfast/lunch spot in the area. Absolutely. I order too often from here and am never disappointed. I will always favor them. I absolutely love their breakfast items, the pepperjack tomato soup is the best I’ve ever had, and the beef bite is my go to sandwich. Their iced lattes are better than Starbucks in my opinion; I appreciate the cute box and presentation when they wrap my food up. I love the sandwich combo and getting a pickle on the side. Everything is so nostalgic in a sense and you get that mom pop business quality you don’t quite find anywhere else. *chefs kiss*

Ordered cupcakes for my gender reveal I’m very disappointed. The icing was very hard and the taste of the cakes was not good tasted like they were old not fresh and my stomach didn’t sit well with them being pregnant. Everyone at my reveal who tasted them were disappointed.
I ordered breakfast trays and well as lunch trays for the morning of my daughter’s wedding. Both the girls and the guys loved everything. The morning we ordered eggs, muffins, bagels and yogurt and fresh fruit. The eggs were awesome. Muffins too! The granola and fresh fruit wonderful!! They had everything packaged and ready to go with serving pieces. I would definitely recommend!! Great job!!

Food was great and then we found a hair in the salad - quietly went to the side to mention it and the gentleman looked at me - through up his hands and said hair gets into stuff from time to time - acted like I was the bad guy for bringing it to his attention- disappointing

I am wildly disappointed. I ordered Doordash from Scratch Bakes, something I do when I am on a deadline. I love their food. The first order arrived incorrect and HALF EATEN. I called them because I know that is not the type of business they conduct. The employee was kind and said he would send along a gift card when I reordered. I refunded it through Doordash and reordered. The second order was incorrect again (but at least it wasn't eaten this time). I called Scratch Bakes again (because wouldn't you want to know?) and the owner answered. He immediately raised his voice-- clearly already upset that I was calling and told me he was never going to send a gift card (which I didn't even bring up). He threatened to BAN me from his store because I dared to complain. He continued to raise his voice and hung up on me. I get that Doordash messed up, but clearly something is going on if they CONTINUE to grab the wrong thing from your store including a half eaten meal. He had an opportunity to fix it (literally an apology would have been fine-- I would have reordered again if that is what had to happen) and instead got nasty. I am sad to say I will not be going to Scratch Bakes anymore and would not recommend them.
