Food is yum and the people are nice, it’s just overpriced.

I would absolutely never refer someone to this restaurant. The food was overpriced and gross, and upon arrival to pick up my order my food was left sitting in the public lobby fully exposed with absolutely no seal or wrapper. What type of to-go place packs your food without basic covering to preserve heat? On top of this they never alerted me to my food being ready as promised in their email.

The burgers were good. The staff were friendly. The store was clean. I wish they have one close to the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area.

While expensive, I'd heard a lot about Shake Shack and thought I'd give it a try today, 1/15/25, in Lancaster, PA. Very disappointed! The shake was good but lumpy, like some portion of an earlier shake was still in the machine. The burger was a very well prepared poor piece of meat...good flavor but an inferior burger. I am shocked to read that they claim it to be Angus beef. If it is, I don't know what they did to it to get all those 'chunks' in it! Really unsatisfying after maybe two bites. And this was just a bit annoying....a young lady delivered my food tray to my numbered table with no napkins. I asked where the napkins were and she pointed to a bar on the other side of the dining room. If you're delivering the food to a table, and they don't keep napkins on the tables, why wouldn't you put a few on the customer's tray? A manager-type came around as I was finishing and asked how my meal was. I was nice but honest. He came back as I was leaving with a $5 off coupon for my next visit. I doubt I'll be using that.

What an amazing staff!!! Took our daughter here for lunch on her 11th birthday (she wore a crown). As soon as they noticed a few minutes later the staff came out wished her a happy bday and wrote out a card with special messages along with sharing their tips and gifted coupons! We were totally surprised it put a tear in my eye. Not only that the food was fantastic and the restrooms were immaculate!! Keep up the superb work it we could we would rate 10 stars across the board!!!! Must visit again!! Thank you everyone
