Food is great! The only thing that bothers me it has to do with the tips. I usually tip, but totally dislike when you are asked out loud about tipping and repeating OUT loud the total amount of your tipping.
I feel it should be handled more privately and less of an overpowering voice ( you know who I you are).

Food for thought. Other than that, I enjoyed the food and the place.

Enjoyed are stop-in for breakfast today. Lots of parking and a great down-home, local feel. Waitresses were very nice and we were promptly seated. I had the oatmeal with bananas, walnuts, brown sugar, and warm milk and my hubby had creamed chipped beef over home fries. Loved my creamy oatmeal with just the right amounts of bananas & walnuts. The brown sugar and warm milk to top the oatmeal was a great touch. Hubby enjoyed his creamed chip beef but felt it needed a bit more s&p. Overall, an enjoyable experience!

Chicken Alfredo: Very Runny, with shaved chicken? Not good.
Chicken Croquets: Not much flavor.
Ordered Mash potatoes as a side, then presented with a mountain of Mash Potatoes...asked why you didnt tell me, reply....I thought it would be a nice surprise? Dumb.

They lie about what their products are, I ordered a chipped beef gravy and they brought out gravy with ham in it / pork products. It is against my religion to consume any type of pork product and once I put it in my mouth I could taste that it was not beef and the chef confirmed that it did have pork in it. They didn't think this was a big deal but it is false advertisement on the menu and as a religious practice it is extremely upsetting to anybody Jewish or Muslim or Christian. And very sinful to consume, they did remove it from my bill and gave me something else instead, with the insurance that it would not be cooked with any type of pork product or in the same pan or grill top. I will not be returning to this restaurant and if you have any type of food allergy , I do not recommend you go here either because you can't trust what the menu says.

Owners are wonderful people
Engage with their customers.hard working couple who will seat you,bus the tables and work in the kitchen as well...I enjoy this family style restaurant 😊
