“Muy delicioso! Found this great gem tucked away in Lancaster today, was looking for some good borricua food on a Sunday and I found it! Owned by husband and wife and soon they will have tacos too! My husband and I got fried pork con tostones, empanadas, and rellenos de papa (potato balls) absolutely delicious! We will be back! Thank you so much Melissa for the taste of Puerto Rico! “The food tastes great. There is a wide selection to choose from kindy pricy. But well worth it. As they say, you get what you pay for. I even ordered in quantity as im away alot for work. I'll get a tray of meat and a tray of rice . There is dine in space. In the summer there is seating outside. Great place.“

“Food is good and hot my only complain, but it’s a personal preference. The plantains are a little too thick. I’m used to thinner, but they did come on hot and crunchy. The pork was nice and crispy toasted overall it was worth the wait. I’m enjoying the food. I did read the negative reviews, but I always like to give people a chance and make my own opinion. My advice to anybody coming for the first time it just give it a try and make up your own mind. guy is out there working by himself and he’s not cooking just for one person.“

“Ate at La Promesa tonight for dinner . Food was excellent! Wife had a mangoes shake, I had strawberry. We both had chicken dinners. Very reasonably priced. Staff was excellent! We’ll be back!“
