First time I was here I had an issue with the waiter. Very rude and unprofessional. We were trying to hold it in but couldn’t and after letting him know about himself went to leave the restaurant. The owner came out to make things right. She made sure we did not leave and gave us a discount on the food. The food here is always good. But they also have a great owner who cares
We went to Lancaster for a long weekend. We visited this restaurant twice for dinner because of the food- not the service. Everyone was very kind but seemed as though understaffed (perhaps because it was a holiday weekend) The service was very slow. But the food made up for it. The food was fresh - not a lot of additives or excess salt. The sushi and sashimi extremely fresh. Would definitely be a go to if we were in the area.
The wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and somewhat later hours always drew me to Yuzu. Overtime, though, the menu has incorporated more fried or gimmicky sushi rolls. At our last visit, the food came out incredibly slowly. We were with a group and one person was not served until the rest of us were finished. I think beverages took 30 minutes and the water never came. And that slow service was even with a kind and attentive server! My starter was a Thai pancake that was supposed...
