Ok so I was in the area because I was trying to find a good Dominican place to eat I usually go to cuchifritos in Allentown which is phenomenal... an I did a search an this place came up so I figured I'd give it a go.. so as soon as I pulled up I had to pay for parking. Not a big deal. I go inside the lady in the front didn't look thrilled that I was there. I ordered rice, beef and chicken. Two drinks total came out to 21.78 and I don't care how much it costs as long as the food is good.. so I open up the tray and everything in the tray was so dry like my daughter wouldn't even eat it.. I don't know. The reviews look really good so I don't understand. Maybe for the area it's good. Kind of gave me a stomach ache. Not going to lie..

Food is usually very good but something must have been wrong with the way they kept the temperature with that pork but it was

This place has most dishes already cooked allowing for fast service. You can still order items that are not prepared in advance. I got the Shrimp Mofongo. This was some of this best monfongo I have ever had. I showed up later than the estimated picked time and my food was still piping hot. My one complaint is that it was a bit dry and could has used more sauce with the shrimps. When I got home I had to add some hot sauce to help with that. I would like to try some of there other offerings.

This was soooo good. I loved the generous portion. The beef was a little salty but overall had good flavour. The rice, yucca were also great. I love little cafeteria style restaurants where you can just point to what you want. Great price.

Rice and beans, pernil, pork like my late mother-in-law’s. Pastellios not quite to that standard. Visited just before closing on Saturday.
