Blue Dog has vegan cheese and offers the option to veganize a cheese steak. The current menu also lists a vegan pesto sandwich and a rotating daily hummus platter. While I wasn't blown away by any of these items, they were all decent which goes a long way in an area that lacks many high-quality vegan options.
However, as someone who went 5 or so years between visiting Blue Dog Pub, it was disheartening to see how much the quantity and quality of the vegan options has declined....
MY WIFE, AND ANOTHER COUPLE WENT TO THE BLUE DOG ON MONDAY DECEMBER 30TH. WE WERE SERVED BY ANDREA. SHE WAS PERFECT ! SHE WAS WELCOMING, AND WAS VERY CARING. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL, THE BAR STAFF....SIMPLY THE BEST. WE ALL LOVE THE BLUE DOG.
Came to blue dog for two green tea shots and was charged $20. Three previous bars did not charge more than $11 for two. I am
Very disappointed that blue dog is one of those establishments which uses these types of sales tactics. The drunker they interpret you are, the more they think they can charge. Be weary. Very very disappointed
