I ordered an al pastor burrito with extra meat to-go. I bit into hard burnt pieces when I took my first bite so I cut the burrito to dissect it and it had many burnt pieces of al pastor… this is not ok because I paid $3 more for extra meat but there wasn’t much meat to begin with AND it was all burnt! They probably gave me the remnants in the pan, ridiculous! Wouldn’t the cook know that the customer would taste/find the burnt pieces? So why didn’t they cook new al pastor and serve it? Or better yet, they could’ve told me that they’re out of al pastor and I would’ve ordered something else. It’s a known fact that there’s a link between burnt food and a risk of cancer. I threw out my food.
I've ordered the same burrito before and it’s usually ok, although they do tend to always skimp out on meat even though you pay for extra. I thought I’d give them another try today and it was more of a disappointment than before. I won’t be coming here again.
Great food. Always hits the spot.
Got the Birria Nachos for $14.00. They were good.
This most recent to-go order of mine was incredibly disappointing. These quesabirria tacos look TERRIBLE compared to what they look like when you order in person. When I order these in person, the tortilla is crusted with cheese and it's nice and crispy, but these are soggy and they taste horrible. The meat was not seasoned AT ALL. The dip it comes with was packaged with such little care that it spilled everywhere in the container. ALL three tacos were absolutely soaked at the bottom with the dip. This is such an avoidable issue that I am struggling to understand how that happened. The tamale I got was packaged in piping hot foil that could very well burn somebody. It was also so disgusting? It was soggy, wet, and unseasoned.
I usually love their food, it's always amazing quality when you order in the restaurant and the to-go food is usually better than this. I've gotten this same order to-go before and it wasn't nearly as disappointing as this one is. It feels as if they put zero care into the food not made for the guests dining in. For $5-6 for A SINGLE taco I expect A LOT better than this. I love this restaurant so much, I really do, but I genuinely do not understand how they managed to make such mediocre food.
This is by far the best El Limon in the area!!! Great food and excellent service!

WOW WOW WOW!!! This place is AMAZING! Wanted to try a new local restaurant and I feel like I hit the jackpot with El Limon. There was plenty of food and it was soooo DELICIOUS!!! The grilled chicken burrito was so amazing and the churros were like a sleigh ride on my tongue!! I just found a new go to Mexican Restaurant. Everyone MUST try this place

Love the food and the service. The atmosphere is strange as it has no windows.
Parking: Parking at the place is hard. Usually we will park in the municipal lot by the library and walk over.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.

Food is EXCELLENT. The mole sauce is to die for. Free margs.
BUT
It's really, really loud in here. Like it's all tile and bare walls so it there are echoes and echoes and echoes. Get it?
Anyway, maybe it was the table next to us where the lady was SCREAMING talking. It did seem to quiet down after they left. But it was still pretty loud.
Again, the food is delicious. I tried the quesabirra (sp?). It was OK. I stole some of my son's mole sauce to eat with it and it was much better. I guess I'm not a birra guy. Did I mention how delicious the mole sauce is?
Service was a little slow, we had to wait for the basics, napkins, utensils, etc. It seemed like they only had 2 people taking care of the whole place on a Saturday night but they were nice and apologetic, no biggie, we're here for the food!
