This was our first time eating here after passing it for several months. We went for lunch on Mother’s Day and it was not too busy around 12pm, though my husband did make a reservation. We saw a few other reserved tables and sure enough the tables started to fill up quickly.

The service was amazing. Very friendly, especially to kids. Our server, whom I think was either owner or manager, made small talk with almost every table and was super kind to our 6-year old daughter. She brought over a pack of seaweed with her lunch, and scissors and small bowl for her dumplings.

We ordered the seafood pancake, two different fried rices (one in a clay pot), and steamed dumplings. The food arrived quickly and hot and delicious! The meals came with complimentary side dishes of cold noodle and various pickled veggies/kimchi, and miso soup. The portions were large, so we had to take some home. The server even gave us a fresh container of sauce for our leftover pancake. Then we got complimentary cinnamon dessert tea which my daughter loved.

The food here tastes very authentic to me (I am not Korean but grew up eating a lot of Korean food), especially if you are looking for non-Korean BBQ foods. We definitely plan on returning! This place is a gem, easy to find and plenty of parking.

The gimbap is excellent. Very nice folks running the place. Repeat take-out orderer, but no dine-in yet.

Stopped here on our way home from NJ. I had the spicy seafood naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) and a spicy salmon roll. The salmon roll was pleasant, but the noodles were divine. The spice was generous but did not mask the flavor, and the broth heavenly. The portion was generous and came with (i believe) daikon and an egg.

I almost never review restaurants on Google, but this one I can't wait to go back to

I have been to so many Korean restaurants throughout the country, but none of them even come close to Kori. We have been here 15+ times over the last two years and the food is always consistently AMAZING! The atmosphere and generous service just adds the cherry on top to the overall experience of this great place. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!!!

Great service and the food is top notch. It’s been a go-to for us for a while now, and it’s the best Korean food I’ve had. Would strongly recommend!!

We made a reservation for Christmas Day and looked forward to having dinner as a family at one of our favorite restaurants. Our server, whom we don't know her name, was a middle-aged older woman with glasses and a short curly bob haircut. We've never seen her before as we tend to go on weekdays and the waitstaff is different. She went on to ask for our order and as we were giving it to her she asked if we were Korean and we said "yes". She then started to speak in Korean saying if we're Korean then why aren't we speaking Korean with this weird smirk expression. Neither me nor my sisters knew how to answer that because we've never been treated that way in any Korean restaurant. I do speak Korean (not great though) but my sisters barely speak it. Speaking English is easier not only for us but especially since my niece and my husband aren't even Korean. I spoke Korean to her thereafter and she seemed to have such a chip on her shoulder and an attitude throughout our dinner. It made our Christmas dinner so awkward and just unnecessarily negative for no reason. Seriously it's not like she doesn't speak English so what does it matter if we order in English or Korean? If you're Korean and you end up with this woman as your server, either speak the language she "prefers" you speak or don't tell her you're Korean, otherwise prepare to be gaslit.

I ate oyster bossam, monkfish stew, and soft tofu stew.
The bossam was dry, the soft tofu stew had no soup, and the monkfish stew was too spicy.
This is my first time eating Korean food in the U.S. and I am so disappointed.
If it were me, I would never go again.. Really, don’t go.

FOUND BUGS IN FOOD!!!

We dined here recently and noticed the tofu soup had GONE BAD. To make matters worse, the next day, we FOUND BUGS in the lamb and beef soup we had taken home as leftovers. The insects resembled cockroaches, which was extremely disturbing.

I cannot recommend ordering food from this restaurant. If you must eat here, perhaps stick to the sushi, which is expected to be "cleaner."
