Been looking for a Joe’s Crab Shack replacement. We found it! Ordered the Sea Lovers and switched out crawfish for an extra pound of shrimp. Flavored with the strong crab special and it was delicious! We’ve been to a similar restaurants but this place offers more than butter sauce and has the best pricing. As others mentioned the salad bar was weak, but I didn’t even realize the salad bar was included with our meal. That added value to the price. Definitely will be going back for the same meal.

Very, very good food. The waitstaff is pleasant and eager to help you get what you'd like. The salad bar was weak when they initially opened, but they seem to have added more choices over time, which makes for a much better salad. Get Your Hands Dirty allows you to pick your seafood, seasoning, and level of heat, and comes with cob corn and potatoes. All in a sky-high steamer bag. Great presentation, and delish! The prices are really great as well.

Excellent restaurant find! Staff was awesome! Food is excellent with a full range of seafood selections. Reasonable prices. Free soup and salad bar with entree. Hopefully more people will try this place and see the same results. No need to travel to the shore for good seafood, it's right here.

This is a seafood gem. I’ve been here a few times and the the seafood is fresh and delicious and don’t let the Cajun description fool you to think its real spicy as the garlic butter sauce is sooo delicious and very mild(level of spice/heat can be ordered to your taste). Great service and staff is very attentive and friendly. They now also serve alcohol. Don’t miss this culinary experience!!! The seafood is very reasonably priced!!!

This is our second time eating here. The seafood is delicious and excellently prepared. The lobster rolls are excellent and be sure to try the combo seafood dinners, Cajun seasoning is awesome! There is a salad bar included with the meal with soup, fresh fruit and dessert! I can't wait to go back again. Excellent service!

I visited Strong Crab for the first time Sunday night. It was not very busy and they had plenty of staff. The restaurant clean. I got fried calamari appetizer. It was cooked perfectly and the breading was well seasoned. For dinner I had combination platter A. I got to pick my seasonings and heat level. Everything was cooked to perfection.(shrimp, muscles, crab, potatoes and corn) I will eat here again.

Not sure what this place is supposed to be. It says Cajun seafood but there was nothing even remotely Cajun about it. I gave them two stars because it was clean and the staff was nice. The food was mediocre at best. The fried shrimp came with a dipping sauce I couldn’t precisely describe. You’d expect cocktail sauce but no, it was like sweet and sour sauce. Everything we ordered came out very hot which I appreciate but nothing was all that good and certainly not Cajun in any way.

Just went for my father’s birthday. Service was excellent, my parent’s crab combos were delicious, and my chicken fingers were surprisingly good! The salad bar, with delicious seafood soup, is also a plus, since it is free! This is our fourth time here, and will definitely not be our last!

We visited this site a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised to find it. This place is relatively new. We actually got there close to closing, but they welcomed us with open arms. Lots of places tend to "close the kitchen" 15 to 30 minutes before their advertised closing time. I "got my hands dirty" with one of the seafood combos (shrimp, sausage, dungeness crab, corn, potatoes) with garlic butter sauce. YUM! Oh yeah, they have a complimentary salad bar! Now where do you find that, ever?? Nowhere! Enjoy!

We came here last night at my husband's request to try the new crab restaurant out because he was impressed by their menu. He is a Chef, but generally not a huge seafood person, so I was a bit shocked when I saw the menu of crab legs, King crab, oysters and lobster. This is literally the type of seafood place I dream of when we go to Ocean City Maryland or Wildwood NJ, but I am always disappointed by the overpriced seafood options, small portions and lack of flavor. WELL if you are looking for good seafood (hands on, shell cracking, delicious tender meat with lots of flavor) ... this place will blow all your expectations out of the water! Just come here, rather than go to the shore! Great prices on good sized portions! First impressions. 1.) Seafood is very fresh and high quality 2.) Seafood sauces have excellent flavor, medium spice is not spicy at all. We could have upped the spice! 3.) Service was friendly and super prompt and attentive! Appetizers arrived to our table within 5-7 minutes. The rest of the food was out maybe 10 minutes later! We don't mind, we like to dig into everything and have a baby we had to get home in an hour for bedtime. Pace your ordering if you want more time for appetizers and the complimentary salad bar! 4.) They have a complimentary salad bar!!! This is a trend that should come back! 5.) Restaurant was very clean with an adorable sea and sailboat theme. We ordered: Apps Hush puppies with sweet & sour dipping sauce 4/5 Hush puppies were soft and tender. I would prefer a different sauce than sweet & sour, maybe like a spicy cajun sauce or garlic aioli! Coconut Shrimp 5/5 Chicken Tenders with Fries 5/5 (Kids said) Regular, Sweet Potato, Cajun Fries 5/5. Crispy, fresh, perfectly seasoned. Loved that sweet potato fries were crisscross cut. Salad Bar 5/5. Great selection of mixed greens, romaine, spinach. hard boiled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, olives, croutons etc. Sweet & Sour Soup (decent), and Gumbo (didn't try). Selection of complimentary sweets, like coconut cake (yummy), chocolate cake, sugared buttery croissant cookies, jello, melons and oranges, ambrosia salad (very good). Dinner Combo Deluxe (1 lobster tail, 1 cluster snow crab legs, 1/2lb deheaded shrimp, 2 corn cobs, 2 potatoes) -Ordered 1 with Garlic Butter/Medium Spice 5/5 Amazing!!! Great size to split between two people! - Ordered 1 with Special Crab Spice/Medium Spice 5/5 Also Amazing!!! Mac & Cheese, Creamy baked Velveeta mac 5/5 (Both baby and mom approved ) The seafood here is cooked french style, en papillote, steamed and baked in a bag. It delivered tender, moist, perfectly cooked seafood! This is the first time my 12 & 15 yr olds have had a full spread of seafood like this. They devoured the snow crab legs declared it the best part of the Combo Deluxe! They thought the the lobster was just ok (Kids ) Everyone loved the garlic butter and special crab spice sauces on the seafood. The sauce really made the seafood finger licking good!!! My husband and I enjoyed the lobster and shrimp! They had a special running if you spent $120 on your meal you received a free order a steamed live lobster. (RIP). $39.99 value off the menu. I ordered this with the chef special sauce. I didn't really feel like the sauce tasted like anything and I hadn't inquired what the sauce was flavored with. Easy fix though... there was so much garlic butter sauce and special crab sauce left over from the other orders I just spooned it all over my lobster! Yum What a nice promotion! Lastly, my husband asked if they have had much business yet, and the waitress said they have not been very busy since they opened 3 months ago. I'm not sure our community realizes this new seafood place opened or considered a visit yet! I hope people see these excellent yelp reviews and try this place out! It was worth the splurge for excellent seafood and service! Our whole family agreed we would love to return and try some more things! I hope the community tries this place out so we can continue to have an excel

First time here and we really enjoyed it. I had salmon which was delicious and the family had steamed "bags" including snow crab and it was all really good. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

This was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back!! The crab/shrimp pots were delicious (we got garlic butter sauce), as was the calamari, bacon wrapped scallops and lobster! Their salad bar was included in all orders, and we got a free lobster for spending a certain amount. The service was very fast, friendly and efficient! They also bring bibs, gloves & a wipe for you to use. The decor was nice too, with a nautical vibe. Bathroom was clean & well stocked. Give them a try!
