Shame I’m posting this but it was two issues in the same order. Placed an order night before Thanksgiving and was told 40 mins. No problem, i get it. I get there at the designated time to a line of people waiting…ok. One by one it clears out over the next 25-30 mins until it’s me and this other guy. He’s pissed and asks for the person in charge. I hear him say that he ordered more than an hour ago, a minute before i did (i checked my phone call) and he mentions uber eats/door dash orders coming in after us and leaving before us. He got a $25 gift card for his troubles. Just me left now and i see some orders waiting to be picked up. I lean over to check the taped receipts and they were ordered 25 mins after i placed mine - not small orders btw. They see me waiting and tell me “yours is next of two orders”. This point ive been waiting well over an hour & 20 mins and I’m pissed. I get my order, tell them how ridiculous it is and leave. Come home and they left out the egg rolls and spring rolls that were ordered. I called and told the same guy who gave me my order about it and that i want it off my tab….2 weeks later and it was never refunded.

If you want your food fast there, order through a food delivery service as they are clearly the priority.

I just picked up my dinner for the evening. I ordered Shrimp lo mein. They gave me some kind of chicken. I ordered pepper steak. They gave me plenty of peppers and onions very little steak. This is an upscale restaurant. It has a good reputation. But tonight they got one star. They were busy. Maybe too busy. Time to slow down and get things right. I hope someone from the restaurant reads this and makes it right. I would consider giving them another try if they did.

Always friendly service. Stylish decor with a cozy feel. The dine-in menu is very limited, but the food is good. A bit more variety would be great. The time between courses could be a little longer. You are still eating your soup and the next course is out. Barely take a bite and the entree is out.

This was once the go-to place in the area. Haven't been here in a couple years. Quality of the food is nothing like it used to be. Wontons in the soup are thick wades of dough. Crab wontons are only cream cheese filled with no crabmeat to speak of. Chicken lo-mein had thick fat noodles with 90% chunks dark meat that I questioned whether it was chicken or not. Could not eat it. The wonton chips were stale. Ribs were pretty good and the eggrolls but those were the only thing. Won't go back.

We were in the area for my husband’s birthday, and tried this restaurant for the first time. It became an IMMEDIATE family favorite. From the moment you walk in, the hospitality is on point, and everyone that works here makes you feel welcome. The decor is absolutely gorgeous, and my kids loved checking out the beautifully decorated koi pond. We were brought fried wontons with dipping sauce and hot tea while we perused the menu, which was a delight. That said, the real gem here is the food! The four of us ordered and shared a variety of appetizers and entrees, and every single item was cooked to perfection. Combining that and the very reasonable prices, this is our new go-to Chinese restaurant in the area.

We stopped in for a late lunch, which includes soup & ice cream. Wontons with mustard and duck sauce for dipping. Menu is short but flexible, if you have a favorite that’s not listed. A mirrored wall, lots of miniature lights and a fish pond/fountain create a delightful ambiance. Service is warm, food is excellent. Definitely recommend!

I'm a long time customer and this has been our place to go with family, friends, date night, you name it. They're getting ready for renovation, so the place was showing years of wear and tear, but that's forgivable under those circumstances. The tall guy--who I'm assuming is the manager or owner-- has always had an unpleasant, smug edge to him as if he is annoyed with his job. He is short with questions about the menu, even about allergens, and he displays a definite air of judgement, but the food was always great, so we always came back. Before making this review I read through some others and saw that he even laughed at someone's child's sneakers. Seriously? Sadly, to my child, he was far worse.

Recently I purchased a $100 gift card for a gift, and on that same day, ate there with my grown daughter, who is trans. The food was great, and the tall guy was his usual unpleasant self. When we stood up to leave, he popped his head out out from the back and looked my daughter up and down while snickering and nudging the other server for a reaction. My daughter was turned the other way and couldn't see, thankfully, but it was clear that this man felt entitled to treat my child (adult) with such disrespect and right in front of my face. I was looking straight at him in disbelief. This is behavior you would expect on the street, not in an establishment where you're paying. I consider this the WORST customer service experience imaginable. We were and always are nothing but kind and pleasant to the staff. Not everyone needs to agree on lifestyles, but the least one can expect while paying to dine somewhere is to not be ridiculed and insulted.

SHAME ON YANTZE FOR ALLOWING BULLYING. If I could return my $100 gift card I would.

This place was highly recommended by my coworkers so I ordered takeout of sesame chicken, wonton soup and chicken lo mein. I never leave reviews but I had to bc this was terrible. They asked if I wanted my sesame chicken coated or not so I asked to have it lightly coated. There was no coating at all and the chicken had zero seasoning except the sesame seeds. It tasted like it was boiled in water and the sauce was watery and tasteless not the usual thick sticky slightly spicy sauce from other Chinese restaurants. The chicken lo mein was okay but there was a bone in there that was about 1/4” in size. Needless to say I trashed it. The soup was okay. Sorry to say I will not return. Very disappointing.
