Jalaf rice with mackerel was delicious, and the portions are HUGE. Easily two meals worth. Their hot sauce is super flavorful and packs a punch! The restaurant was clean, colorful, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’ve never tried west african food just tell Aunty K what you like and take her recommendation on what to get!

Some of the best casava leaf and Palava sauce I ever had. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant. I can’t wait to try the other dishes but try the casava leaf and palava sauce first! Amazing.

Recently moved to Philly and I searched for a Nigerian restaurant near me, I went Aunty K’s and the food as well as the service delivered by Sidique exceeded expectations and I absolutely enjoy the food!

Delicious Authentic African food. I ordered the Jollof rice and chicken with gravy. The food was very flavorful. A new Favorite of mine now. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

During my recent visit to Aunty K's West African Restaurant, I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a few tables and chairs for customers to dine in. The daily menu and prices were displayed on chalkboards behind the counter, making it easy to decide what to order.The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sidique came out from behind the counter to greet me, which made me feel welcomed.Although my favorite cassava leaf soup was unavailable on this visit, Sidique assured me it would be back on the menu soon. As an alternative, I decided to try the Peanut Butter Soup.The Peanut Butter Soup was delicious. Its savory taste balanced the slight sweetness of the peanut butter. The soup was rich and hearty, with stew chicken and beef. It was served with a generous portion of white rice. They also provided a small container of hot pepper sauce on the side, allowing me to customize the heat level.Overall, Aunty K's West African Restaurant is a clean and friendly establishment with tasty food. I look forward to returning soon.

Total sticker shock if you order ahead without asking the price like i did. Was charged $23 for hot rice and cold okra stew. Only pride kept me from canceling my order immediately. I was really hoping they charged me for 2 platters in my bag and that's why it was so high. Because I asked about 2 different meals. Turns out it was only one bad meal. Perhaps church lane Yeadon ain't the place for food businesses, hence why none ever last except 711. Swp aka Lil Africa only a mile away and ½ the price. 10x the quality. Sorry I tried. Got ripped off from my own ppl again.
