I hate to bash a black owned restaurant but this food was terrible literally everything was nasty cheesesteak egg roll dry af no cheese wings were undercooked and the yams taste like im doing the cinnamon challenge if i could i would give 0 star honestly smh highly disappointed

So Crystal's have been in my neighborhood for awhile but I'm jus getting to go there. Got fish sandwich, mac n cheese, cabbage. Son got bourbon chicken over fries, mac n cheese. Food was very good. Seasoned well. Good portions. Eat sum now eat sum later for both of us so price was worth it. Well went back a week later with my BFF and got two fish platters but he got yams and I got mac n cheese. This time Crystal was there and in walked Steve and 30 minutes later we came out of this delightful place with good food AND good conversation from the owners!! They were a delightful decent Black power couple and we totally enjoyed the banter!!! Food was even better my second visit and once again we both was able to get 2 meals out of our platters. Keep up the good work and I will definitely suggest Crystal's Comfort Food if ur looking for sum soulful eating!!

Went in and grabbed just (3) small sides to balance out some catfish I fried for myself at home. I ordered a mac and cheese, yams, and cabbage. I was a bit skeptical to try anything else after reading the reviews. But it was late and I didn’t feel like preparing all of that. I now see why they got 3 stars. They charged me $19 for (3) small sides! The money wasn’t the issue. The Food was mad regular! It tasted like leftovers. No cap - I know Asians in Harlem that cook waaay better soul food than this place! Never again!

Prices are going up , quality of food was poor, and the young lady who took my order had no clue what was going on. Please update your menu prices to match what is being charged. Fish was overcooked as well.
