Food was good. Delivery was almost immediate. Great service. We ordered breaded Flounder got plenty 3 PCs. Potato salad. Collared greens (overdosed 😁 on apple cider vinegar). We got one soft shell crab which tasted good, fit in the palm of your hand. But it was good. I thought some of their fees were high. Everyone is starting to charge us for delivery and then they put on another fee for delivery or whatever the fees for and then they finally hit me with the sales tax and a $18 order turns out it's very soon to be closer to 40.00 - 45.00. sometimes I think that these small businesses and small restaurants are really ripping into us and it shows and I think that their greed is going to eventually cause them all to go broke the government has to stop giving out welfare to corporations and to small businesses if you price yourself out of the market well then that's tough. Quite frankly I often wonder how people get the money to order 40 - 45.00 for one person although I will say we did split the meal for two people. Will I order again I don't know I'm not sure. I just felt that it was really expensive.

Fish tasted really bad, like old bad. I tried to call twice and they kept telling me the manager was not there.

Just called to order a fish sandwich. I asked how many pieces of fish come on a sandwich. The cashier said 1 & 1/2 pieces. I asked could I pay for more she said no, straight up because the boss said everything comes as is they can’t make any changes to orders. And here I am trying to support a black business, I’m going to the other kind of people. Smh. All I wanted was an extra piece of fish.

The Crab's where mushy taste like old crabs

I wish I could give half points
But we come here often. My husband and I have been coming here for nearly 10 years. We normally order the salmon Alfredo to split. It is so good. Since we've moved away we've cut back
On my last trip here my husband order on grubhub for me to pick up. Then man behind the counter showed me that order from there website or over the phone was more than a 10$ savings. (I love saving money).

My one concern is that on the last visit as we were ordering my family overheard me and two different family members asked me to order them an order of fried shrimp at 7 minutes away from eachother. One of my orders got dismissed as a duplicate and one reached out to confirm. Which means my husband didn't stop complaining for hours. I still love them here.

I still love the food and the people. But could you please make a phone call before you dismiss people's orders next time. I don't ever want to hear my loquacious husband complain about you guys.

They don’t even deserve 1 star, I ordered the rice and crabcakes food Got delivered, took it right out the bag opened it up and with one fork in you can see it was roaches inside the rice actual roaches I WOULD NEVER GIVE MY MONEY TO OFF THE HOOK

Genuinely just getting around to this review. As a repeated customer I expected better treatment in handling the situation. A few months back I ordered two platters for my family. Within a matter of hours my entire family (family of four) had gotten very sick. Which is very upsetting I have very small children. We were FOOD POISONED!! I trusted to eat from this place and ate here before even having children never had an issue with the food.
& for hindsight this is the only meal all four of us had the same of. We called and spoke with the manager he denied the possibility of it being their food, no refund, and we weren’t looking for more food. But most of all..We simply told him not to serve the batch of food to anyone else. He insisted we had gotten sick some place else and had a nasty attitude & WELP from there it was just history. NEVER going back!

The girl at the front desk is rude as hell. They also charge you a .90 cent service charge for using your card. I will never go there again

Initial visit was takeout. Food was awesome and packaged perfectly for eating at home. Ordered beans and cheesy potatoes as sides for pulled pork and sliced brisket sandwiches. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go again, and eat in this time. Service and staff were awesome. Highly recommend.

MY FOOD WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION!!!… ONLY THING IS THE CORN NEEDS A LITTLE SEASONING IN THE POT WHILE IT’S BEING COOKED BUT OTHERWISE I LOVED MY PLATTER!!!… I HAD THE ‘J & P BROILED SEAFOOD PLATTER’ W/A PERFECTLY BROILED STUFFED FLOUNDER W/CRABMEAT, 3 JUMBO SHRIMP & 3 BROILED BAY SCALLOPS ON A BED OF FLUFFY RICE & MY ‘CHOICE 2 SIDES’ OF THE CORN & CREAMY MACARONI SALAD!!!… I ALSO HAD ORDERED A CRAB CAKE THAT WAS DELICIOUS!!!… THE FOOD IS SENT IN A GENEROUS PORTION THAT I SPLIT IN HALF & WILL EAT THE REST TOMORROW!!!… THIS IS MY SECOND MEAL IN TWO DAYS & I AM A CUSTOMER ‘HERE IN OUT’ AS LONG AS IT STAYS CONSISTENT!!!… MY DAUGHTER HAD THE ‘CHICKEN ALREDO’ YESTERDAY & HAS SO MUCH THAT SHE ‘WAS EATING IT TODAY & ‘ENJOYED EVERY BITE!!!’… TRY ‘OFF THE HOOK’ & I BELIEVE THAT ‘YOU’LL BE HOOKED TOO!!!’ 🪝 🍤 🦞 🦀 🐠 🍜 🍚 🍗 🥖🥗🎣🍋🥤🍟🥦🥩🍖💜💙💯

The salmon do not taste too good, the rice have a weird taste. The chicken was pretty good.

Ordered fried catfish and they gave me Swai fish ( I paid for catfish ) when I called the manager tells me they serve Swai as catfish not understanding they are two different fish’s, two different tastes and definitely are priced differently. I was extremely surprised how incompetent the manager was running a seafood restaurant and not knowing the difference between catfish and Swai I’ve been going here for years but after the manager damn made me step out of character and do something I would have been sure to regret I’ll never be back there again and would ensure my company stop getting lunch catered from there I’m big on customer service and accountability and that is something you will not find at Off the Hook.

Off the Hook Seafood & Grill is a casual spot with some seriously tasty seafood. The fried options are crispy and flavorful — it’s definitely a place I’ll be revisiting!
