This place obviously knows how to please their customers. Always with a super nice demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, always tasty and neat.

I use to go to this place all the time. The owner was one of the sweetest people in lansdowne but over the years here mental health has detoriated and she's changed as a person. I hope she can sell this place and take a much needed break for herself. I'm not sure what happened but the shirley I knew was a generous and caring person.I love shirley and I'm really sorry to see that she's going through a lot. The cafe is a beautiful space and under there right hands i think it can be restored back it's glory.

Absolutely a spot worth visiting, the food is awesome and well prepared, the pricing is fair and it is consistently well kept in here. Highly recommended.

Please please please SELL this to someone interested in running it . It was a busy shop with good food. I used to come several times a week. Then it started being closed for no apparent reason. It wasn't worth the trip to see if I might get lucky and find it open. Such a shame!

My wife and family have been going there for years and have enjoyed all of the food as well as the service. My personal favorites are the quiche and the scones. This place is a great start to any day.

To be honest, i haven't been here in years. I lived in Lansdowne 8 years ago, but i still remember this Cafe. I used to sit in and drink hot chocolate and eat snacks with my friends. I can't say I know what it's like now, but I can say that I miss hanging out and studying here.

The owner could treat everyone who walked in her place of business with kindness and respect instead of acting like a certain tv character on Seinfeld who denies people soup. Why would you take food out of a patron's child's hand that already paid for their food and make them leave? Check out just how "nice" the owner is on the Google reviews to longtime existing customers and new ones. From a former longtime customer of the Regency before I experienced the wrath of the owner just for inquiring about what was on a sandwhich. No excuse for this kind of behavior.

Excellent coffee in the heart of a thriving small town business district. Fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and other cafe nibbles offered in a cozy, local art filled, family run community hub. Often the gathering place for local groups and idea sharing. Also a presence at the seasonal weekly farmers market held across the street.

Does not know the meaning of vegan. I ordered a "roasted veggies" sandwich and asked if was vegan. I was told yes. Nothing on the menu indicated it would have cheese, but it included cheese. I asked to have it remade without cheese, and the owner grabbed my plate, angrily said "This is vegan! I will refund your money." And she gave me $7.00 back rather than remake the sandwich without cheese. Will not be coming back.

This place was a local gem for years. Now it’s rarely open it’s posted business hours. My partner had been scolded twice for walking in the open front door during posted business hours, being told “we’re not open!” by owner. The food is generally good and there’s good coffee. Service varies.

The owner yelled at me as I tried to get to the bathroom. She tried to physically block me- and even after I bought a tea, she was still yelling at me. How horrible.

The owner is so friendly and remembers the regulars who come in. Such a homey feel! And the quiche is delicious
