With outstanding staff and a delicious menu this place offers a little bit of everything. Really enjoyed our food. One of the best places to get food in the area. Good portions had us feeling full and left us leaving with some leftovers.

Stopped by thinking it was a small grocery store looking for a bag of potatoes for our hunting group. When I walked in I noticed it was a cafe not a store so I asked the girl at the counter if she knew where I could go and told me the closest grocery store. As I was walking out who I assume to be the owner told me to come back in and he'd get some potatoes for me. He grabbed me a whole bag full from the kitchen and I grabbed a drink. When I went to pay the internet and phone was down so the credit card machine wasn't working. The owner insisted I could have them without having to pay. The cafe was extremely clean and the staff was amazing. Truly what you hope to find in a small town these days. Thanks again.

I was staying in nearby Eagles Mere and stopped here for dinner. Great local spot to have a nice home cooked meal for reasonable prices. Had the Chicken Parmesan meal which included a salad not pictured. The waiter was super nice and there are so many locals who stop in and enjoy catching up with their neighbors and friends.

This place is very small but affordable and they have a great selection of different types of food for everyone and my kids were happy about the cheese fries, and of course the hand cut are my favorite...nice little place with a nice setting!!

The only thing I can say is I should not have got the chicken salad sandwich toasted.

It's so wonderful of Howard Denmon to keep the tradition of having an excellent restaurant in Laporte alive. He is a wonderful host, serving delicious food, with a staff that's always happy to see you! 5 stars! Highly recommend for lunch and dinner.

I had one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. I have had burgers all over this great country of ours but I found one of the best close to home.

This is a county with one traffic light and at any given time about as many places to shop or eat. This is a tiny Italian style family restaurant in walking distance of the center of the county seat. The food is surprisingly good. They don't try to do things that they're not set up to do and stick to a small menu of things they do well. The pizza is good, other items are also good. Overall, it exceeds expectations and is a fine place to order takeout or dine in.
