This is such a great place! I am never disappointed after a visit. The staff is friendly, and every food item is fantastic! They have savory and sweet -- fresh, prepare-at-home, and retail packages. Okay, those are definitely not the professional/technical names for those categories, but they have bakery cases filled with mouth-watering sweet things, freshly-made crepes, soups and salads, refrigerated pot pies, branded crackers and cookies and candy. Bottles of whipped cream, packaged cheeses, and so many other things! And they've all been good. The baker(s) and cook(s) are outstanding, and the rest of the staff is knowledgeable and wonderful, too. There's even a lovely little dining area at the front of the shop. I love making excuses to go here. I highly recommend French Express!

Lovely place for lunch, but not a lot of seating. My butternut squash soup and turkey & Brie panini were both delicious. They also offer a large variety of bottled/canned beverages and desserts.

Absolutely love everything about this place except the atmosphere. It needs an update. The muted yellow feels like I’m back at my grandmas house in the 70s. Otherwise everything else is perfection. Highly recommend.

I want to move in!! I was not able to try everything I wanted to so (poor me) will have to go back, and keep going back until I have tried everything!! I am a sucker for good pasteries..they did not disappoint, I had the lemon torte. Then the soup, and the bread!! Go visit, you won't be disappointed!!
Love the food here and have returned multiple times. Last time was a dud though. Saturday the closing time is 4pm. We arrived and ordered at approximately 3:10. The staff stated something like....we close the dining at 3:30? Or something to that effect. We said ok fine, its 3:10, we'll be done before 4 if we have our food promptly. She pressed more saying....we can wrap it to go if you want to eat in the car???? Ah....no. I pushed back and said we choose to dine in and will be more than finished at your closing at 4. Basically, if you would stop and get busy with my food, all will be well. Which it was. My friend and I discussed how bizarre food Establishments operate these days with these expectations. Open til 4 but dont dare sit from 3 onward when we want to get cleaned up and the heck outta here. I'm just curious as to whether this is the owner's policy or a made up rule by staff that is being done without their knowledge? Just not a great business tactic in my opinion which from both my friend and I being in the food business for 40+ years each have a leg to stand on. Sorry for long winded but it gets very tiring. Enough to consider other options next time.
We celebrated our 28 th Anniversary at the French Express. The chef is to be commended for our delicious meals and dessert. Mollie and the other young lady, were professionally friendly hostess and waitress. The Christmas hymns added a romantic touch of class. God-Bless✝️
