My husband and I recently took my in-laws here for dinner, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Easily one of the best restaurants we’ve visited in Pennsylvania. The freshly baked variety of breads paired with molasses butter was a perfect start, so much so that we ordered more to take home! The crab dip appetizer was also a standout, generously packed with crab meat—no skimping here!
For our entrees, my father-in-law and I had the local trout with mushroom risotto, which was fabulous. My husband enjoyed the beef pot pie, which was hearty and comforting, especially on a chilly day. My mother-in-law loved her Caesar salad, especially the homemade croutons and bacon pieces.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist trying all three options: the chocolate lava cake with peanut butter ice cream, the apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream, and the carrot cake crème brûlée. The lava cake and apple crumble were our favorites, and if we could, we’d buy a whole gallon of that incredible peanut butter ice cream!
Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience. High-end, farm-to-table cuisine with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. They don’t rush to turn tables, so there’s no pressure to leave after your meal. The open-concept kitchen is a nice touch, allowing you to watch the chefs prepare and plate your dishes. You can tell they take pride in their craft, and it certainly shows in their food. 10/10—highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

My first visit to Maileys for an early Friday evening dinner. The appetizers were great. First time having escargot, not in the shells but in a special holder in a butter sauce with cheese and breadcrumbs coating. Excellent choice. We also had their crab dip. Tons of crab, good but I was underwhelmed. I would ask for the bread slices that came with the escargot with the crab next time.
The Main course’s were good, short rib and the duck both excellent choices.

We were super excited to go to this place but when we got there we weren’t acknowledged by the staff which seemed rude there’s only 2 workers which makes it not feel like a real establishment. We put an order in for our food that took over 35 minutes at this point we lost our appetite when we seen a COCKROACH on the wall crawling by our table !! After looking around in the restaurant we seen roach traps in every corner which told us this place is infested it was so gross I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like! The location is terrible there were drug addicts across the street me and my wife will never be going here again and I suggest anyone else to find a new restaurant.

The cheese board was incredible, as was the crab dip. I’ve never tried duck confit until I came here and it was amazing, super flavorful and falling off the bone. We also tried the mango custard which was so refreshing and the perfect end to the meal. Also their coffee is delicious! Genuinely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, we are so lucky to have this gem in Latrobe! And I find it so silly that the worst review is mostly about the dog, he sat at the front near the front door the whole time and was such a sweetheart. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

My first visit to Mailey's Provisions and it won't be my last. The food, service and atmosphere are top notch. Just a great place to grab an excellent meal. The owners are hands on and very friendly. Nancy (owner) waited on us and shared the wonderful story and history of the location. They have not been open very long, but I can definitely see them being around for a very long time. I enjoyed the Maryland Crab Dip (excellent appetizer), the Chicken Potpie & Gyro as the entree's and a delicious Mango Custard for dessert. Highly recommend a visit, I bet you will go back again and again.
Parking: Paid parking lot very close and inexpensive too. I think it was $0.25 for 50 minutes. There is also on street parking availalbe.

One of the best restaurants to ever be in Latrobe. The food is out of this world. Atmosphere is 10/10. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, lighting is perfect, it's not huge and overcrowded...it's smaller with perfectly distanced tables. High end dining with farm fresh foods.

Tried Maileys Provisions for the first time last night and had an outstanding meal. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, we felt like we were at a family meal, even Moose their chocolate lab was there to join us. The food is mostly sourced from local farms and did not disappoint. The Old Bay fettuccine was loaded with tasty crab and mussels. My wife had the trout over risotto that was also delicious. We will definitely be back to try the pot pies!

My husband and I were in Latrobe to see roadside attractions when we found this amazing new restaurant. The owner/chef and the menu are what caught our attention. Our dining experience captured our hearts.
The building is in the middle of Main Street, and it has been nicely updated in a way that reflects its history and looks chic, modern. Love the inclusion of Andy Warhol art! We were greeted by a very sweet dog as we waited to be seated. We were lucky on a Monday night to be seated without a reservation. You might want to make one! Lucky for us, seats were available right at the open kitchen. We had the pleasure of watching Chef Adam and Chef Shawn cook and plate.
The menu reflects French-style cooking. Each dish is precise and refined with big flavors. Chef Adam has nods to his Maine upbringing and recent Maryland experience. He vowed to always have some kind of banana split dessert on the menu, a tribute to his new hometown.
Nancy is a super friendly host. She made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Her favorite dish is the duck. We were trying to save room for dessert, so we ordered thoughtfully: crab dip, asparagus salad, and the salmon en papillote. Of course, we had the banana split dessert, which was a great play on the traditional dessert.
Throughout the meal, we were able to learn more about and connect with Adam, Nancy, and Shawn. This is what made our meal truly special. It felt like we were dining with friends.
Even if you are a few hours away from Latrobe, make a point to eat here. You'll appreciate the decor and atmosphere. You'll appreciate how the local farms and shops are highlighted. You'll be amazed by Chef Adam's food. And you'll fall in love with the charm of Mailey's Provisions.
