We would not recommend Elaine's catering to anyone. We want to keep this factual and leave feelings out of it, but we wanted to write a review because we feel like this is important for people to know before anyone makes a decision on a caterer. We had booked Elaine a year in advance of our wedding and just 18 days before our wedding (of 120 people) she canceled on us and did not give us any solution or offer to help. She did give us a refund of our original deposit. She was extremely rude to us with little apologies when talking to her over the phone after she canceled on us.

Elaine and her team made some of the worst food I’ve ever had. Some of the food was overcooked to the point it was inedible. Stale bread, old meat, sour cheese, nothing seemed fresh. The salads were swimming in the most disgusting dressings I’ve ever had. Not a single thing these people made was good. Beyond that, they don’t respond well to any kind of criticism or even questions about allergies. They seem to just become defensive or argumentative. They complained about their other customers in front of us, and most of them (but not all) were generally unprofessional. I’m not sure why anyone puts up with these people, complete waste of money, terrible food from terrible people. What they make is like jail food.

We had arranged for a catered funeral meal of Turkey and roast beef. The food was good and the servers were professional. We had a major problem getting information about the total price until 2 days before the service. Elaine was always busy and promised to call back. I felt as if there was some deceit there, as our cost per person was almost doubled. We could afford the meals but in such a stressful time I feel that most people would need more guidance and be given more information about all of the prices. The web site price is incorrect.

From the start, Elaine was professional, very personal with my wife and I, an offered us huge variety of food for our wedding to choose from.
Fast-forward to October 21 of this year, Elaine and her team provided nothing but the best in service, delicious, amazing, hot food, professionalism, even stepped up and helped with suggestions on where the food was to be set up at the venue.
I have personally dealt with many caterer over the years, and Elaine and her team is by far the best.
With pricing, you get exactly what you pay for, lots of food, and along with it, I shared above, just the absolute professionalism of her staff that serves the food.
My wife, June, and I want to thank Elaine and her team for making our event, so successful, so wonderful, and our guest had shared over and over again how wonderful the staff was, and the food was.
If you are looking for a caterer for all your needs at your next venue, or event, look no further than Elaine’s catering.

This was not disclosed until the final conversation, the day before the party. Additionally, I had to call to confirm all details. As someone who formerly owned my own business, I would always call to confirm with clients (not the other way around). No follow-up call to inquire how food and services were. Pass on this one.

After paying over $3200/50 people for catering for a post funeral luncheon, our family was very underwhelmed by Elaine‘s catering. Most of the food was store bought. The chicken noodle soup had no chicken in it, the food was flavorless, very bland. We were quoted $12 on table cloths that were purchased by us for under $1. Overall we feel we were cheated by this company. If you do use Elaine‘s catering get an itemized list before you pay her. I would also recommend you get samples of the food before you order it.

It’s taken me a week to be able to write this after such a disappointing experience. For the price, lack of any creative food presentation, dollar store level serving trays we would have been better served had we gone to Costco or even a Subway. This was for my Mother-In-Laws 80th Birthday in Lebanon which I planned from out of state. Everyone else there was local to PA and when it was shared what we payed-to-what we actually got everyone agreed we had been taken advantage of. I was embarrassed and had serious buyers remorse. We even picked up the catering ourselves because Elaine charged for that as well and kept talking about how many other events she had Memorial Day weekend. I had to ask twice for an invoice, something itemized for what we were ordering to have catered since we were not local & needed to share with other family members helping plan our event. There was absolutely nothing special, nor creative with the few trays we received per their catering. I felt like all these pictures on her Facebook page were false advertising for what they do.
We always always try to support local businesses and especially after the hardships CoViD had affected so many. I can’t say that we or any of our family in Lebanon would ever use or recommend Elaine’s Catering. We don’t want to see others taken advantage of and have special events ruined. It’s just not worth the time & money. Do your research, read reviews, talk to others before considering this business. Buyers beware.

She provided guidance and suggestions for menu.Her staff showed up on time and was very considerate to the fact that the service had run longer than planned. Kyle was very professional and set food out quickly.The guest raved about everything. We had turkey and ham wraps, barbecued chicken with slider buns. Broccoli salad, potatoe salad and mac and cheese for sides. Along with cheese and cracker tray, fruit tray and vegetable tray. We had a assorted dessert tray. Lemonade and tea for beverages. The crowning gem was the cake!Many of my guest were very familiar with the bakery and they loved the cake.
