“Let me start off by saying this place operates like a well oiled machine. When you walk in they always great you in such a friendly way. The place is also spotlessly clean. There’s nothing more unappetizing than a dirty food establishment. This place doesn’t have that issue. Now for the food, the sandwich is delicious. The meats, veggies and bread taste like they were just received the same day. As well, you get a lot of meat on the sandwich and a little bit of lettuce, this is how it should be. Only gripe is that they are only open till 2PM and not on weekends.”
“food is great beers are cold wonderful people run the counter never was there before today but 100% recommend it even if not for a cold one food and people are great.”
“I went to all of the coffeeshops in the Lebanon Valley during 2023’s Java Journey and I can say that Cakes by Moraima & Cafe is by far the best coffeeshop and cafe in the area. The atmosphere is so friendly and you can tell that a lot of love and care goes into this store! The desserts are delicious and their dalgona coffee is honestly my favorite drink ever.”
“My partner and I both went to dine at Tony's Mining Company (March 22, evening) after a lull of at least a dozen years. This is a NEWly recreated atmosphere and a most pleasantly surprising experience. It's been tastefully remodeled...wood paneling, exposed beams, with very nice ambient lighting. We were greeted politely at the door and promptly escorted to our table. Service was very good, but the FOOD!!! Yes: from the bread with whipped butter to a tasty salad, the salmon and the scallop dinners we each ordered, the desserts, and the delicious drinks...such fun to be delighted. Oh, and the small, homemade chocolate cookies gifted to us as we sipped our hot French-press coffee. We will return, and hope to tell all our dining friends about it, too. We ate in the expansive bar area, by the copper-domed gas fireplace. Try it.”
“Got a pep and mushroom pizza, cheese fries, and tried (probably) all the desserts on the menu... Cannoli, limoncello cake, lemon berry cake, and cheesecake. Pizza and cheese fries were a little salty and the pizza could have had some more sauce, but it was all delicious! Quality ingredients! Service was excellent as well.”
“1st timer here, came on a weekday ..I got the "11 o clock" - 10/10And a "coconut late" -10/10The food is absolutely amazing , truly and the late was delicious! Definitely worth the hour drive and will visit again soooon ..”
“Each of the menu items we ordered was thoughtfully created with some pizazz in the flavor profile. Our server was experienced and excellent. She made it look easy but the place was busy. We even had time for dessert but never felt rushed.”
“First time here with my boyfriend and we will definitely be back with more guests! The atmosphere, service and food were top class. It is the perfect place for a relaxing and delicious meal. Everything was delicious! One of the best meals we have both ever had for a more than reasonable price.”
“My husband had a steak quesadila, & I had boneless wings that were good. Service was a little slow even though it wasn't very busy. Atmosphere was very nice.”
“The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The menu offered a great variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The ambience of the brewery was chill and relaxed, creating a perfect setting for a great meal. The staff was wonderful, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the visit. I was so impressed with the overall experience that I am already looking forward to going back to Snitz Creek Brewery for another incredible dining experience.”
“Since moving to lebanon A&M has become my go to pizza place. I love bacon and garlic pizza and these guys use fresh garlic and it's amazing. Even better that I can get half bacon and garlic and half hawaiian for my fiance without any mark up in price. They also have a decent beer selection.”
“I ordered this food today for my contractors and it was decent, they were happy. The pork egg-roll was phenomenal, but the house special fried rice has needs some work.”
“Overall amazingly great atmosphere… peaceful piano jazz… feels authentic… Great sushi. You would hardly know this place existed in Lebanon city, but it does. And it’s underrated. If you want great Japanese food, this is the place to stop. I had the rainbow sushi roll, raspberry iced tea and the strawberry mochi. All refreshing and very delicious! ? also nice waitress! Didn’t feel bad leaving a bigger than necessary tip.”
“This brewery is amazing. In my opinion, it is the best brewery in Central PA. All of the beers are excellent, and my favorites are the sours; they are truly exceptional. The food is also excellent, and it is awe-inspiring how large the portion sizes are. They do an amazing trivia on Wednesday night, hosted by Jim Marlin, in my opinion, the best trivia host in Central PA. It is a great time, and the questions are excellent and engaging as well. For being downtown, parking is exceptionally easy (and free) in the large lot. Lebanon has its share of good breweries, but with the excellent beer, food, and the general atmosphere present at this establishment, this brewery can be considered by far the best of the best.”
“I am not an egg person, so take note that this eliminates a large portion of the breakfast menu, and my opinion is based on other selections.I'm not an egg guy, but I'm a diner guy, and one who considers customer service to be paramount to the success of any business. In the realm of food, it is service and food first, then other issues like price, location, parking, atmosphere... that tie in the whole package. All this said, just like never trusting a skinny cook, I don't eat at places where the parking lot never has an abundance of cars, or one where the dining areas look empty. QH has a steady stream of customers, and I would guess that 90% of them are repeat. So, if it's good enough for them, it should be for you, too.The location is great for a number of reasons- adequate parking, HC accessible, and just far enough out of town that there's almost always an empty seat.I was disappointed in the service and food we received. The word "underwhelming" comes to mind for the food and "inefficient" for the service. This review says what it does because QH is SO close to perfection that it bothers me they're falling short of an experience that says, "oh yeah, let's drive to that place, I love it!" And... I hope it is read with this in mind. I'm a huge independent, small business, and family-run... anything. So I'm rooting for this place in a huge way.The staff were cordial enough, so there are good people to work with. The menu says their kitchen is capable, and the food generally attracts a LOT of people- so there's that.My perspective is a bit unique, I've been to MANY diners and small restaurants, some of which I still ride to on the motorcycle or drive to for that destination alone. My suggestions from my perspective and experience eating at QH are:Don't get special orders wrong. It is not easy for -most- customers to ask for something specific because they already realize it makes an impact on the server, the cook, and even for the check. So when they do ask, get it right, and ask them if it is before you leave their table- especially if you're already hectic and unlikely to return in 2-3 minutes. Never just assume a customer is being difficult or picky- this is part of the job, and I totally understand it feels that way, but you're not getting paid for your feelings, you're being paid to make sure your team is successful. Our servers never made us feel this way, but the follow through didn't happen and the food was not as asked. I know, mistakes happen all the time, and I get that. This is just friendly reminder and training speak coming from a good place.Communicate. Wow, if you're busy, say so! If you're falling behind, missed something, the food is wrong, apologize, and be sincere. You'll find your customers will do things like prep the table for cleaning, put condiments back the way they were, and, oh yeah, you'll likely get a better tip. People can see things fall apart as they always do, in every establishment sometimes, but when you communicate with them like you really care, you've often created a customer relationship where they'd walk into traffic for you. Don't discount that extra bit you did for them: only the very worst individuals miss it. Most remember, and it becomes a critical reason why they return. Even a disastrous waitress or waiter shine when they're sincere with their customers. Staff at QH really didn't fail in this regard, either, but it could be a bit better, and of course, some are better than others. Watch for those few leaders and make sure you recognize them and utilize them to train your next generation of staff!Lastly, I would recommend another way to pay checks other than the counter. It gets congested right there and impacts counter customers, those exiting, and those waiting. Not critical but just an observation.Again, all of this is just one person's opinion, but I hope it helps for feedback. You'l”
“Our 1st time.We were hoping to have their steak dinner, but 4pm was serving time.We should of waited the 20 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant.Shrimp and wings was good, but the wings were small (Bell & Evans wings the size of your baby finger)Quesadilla was very good.”
“Truly a diamond in Lebanon. You can not find a better vibe anywhere, and the food choices are outstanding! If you don't try the flash fried Brussel sprout appetizer, then you are missing out on one of life's hidden treasures!”
“This pizza is a staple in our family. Mushroom and onion or just plain cheese slaps like no other. room temp or cold; it's ALWAYS the move. The service is phenomenal, the food is Devine and the vibes are immaculate . We love Brenda and her fab pizza.”
“One of my favorite places for lunch in Lebanon. As a transplanted southerner, I really appreciate being able to get collards and fried catfish! And the fish sandwiches are great, too. The owner is always personable, and the service is great. Also, the market has a fun ambiance. You can't go wrong here.”
“This is all around the perfect place to eat hang out and just go the food is amazing the wings are out-of-this-world top-notch I ordered from there whenever I get a chance you want the perfect wings go to Big Daddy's you won't go ”
“Food it’s great, prices even better, flavor, service, fast delivery! I had a bad experience with another Chinese restaurant so for many years I would only eat from ONE specific restaurant but they didn’t deliver, and the cooks not all were good until my son told me about this place and first I was hesitant to try it I did and now this is the ONLY place I’ll eat from. Well recommended!!!”
“First time trying the place. The menu was solid my fiancee and I got a smattering of various delicious food. I loved the quesadilla we wanted to try their signature wings but they were out. The Korean sauce was still excellent. We had a few excellent drinks as well. They were a bit short staffed for the number of people there had to remind the server a few times of drinks orders and they were out of some beers they had listed but hey those are the times we live in. The staff did a great job even though they were a bit busy. I'm pumped to go back and hopefully get those signatures wings.”
“The craft beer is good especially during happy hour when it’s about $4. Good variety of sandwiches. Meal always comes with a plate of pickles which I LOVE! They added wings and burgers to the menu recently. The wings are too small for the price but the buffalo wing sauce is great. The burger is substantial and comes with fries but costs $20!! Salads and soups are good and reasonably priced. I say stick with the soup and sandwich combo, that seems to be the best deal. Ambience is nothing special but does have outdoor patio seating which I utilize on nice summer evenings. The bartenders are nice although they also serve tables so they don’t get to chat much unless you come in when it’s empty. Overall, it’s just a convenient place for me to have a few beers at the end of my day.”
“Food was fantastic. Cooked exactly as I wanted. Our server today did an excellent job. This is our favorite restaurant where we live. Been going there for years.Parking: Plenty of places to park.Kid-friendliness: Staff has always been great with our kids.”
“Great food along with great customer service. We ordered 3 Hibachi orders for take out and ask for extra sauce which they added to our order. They also honored a discount coupon.”
“Good food, reasonable prices, large portions. Service was great, as was the overall atmosphere.Parking: Need to go up a hill to the restaurant from the parking lot. May be difficult for disabled/ handicapped persons.”
“Great dinner here last night. Best ribs in the area, tasty Reuben type burger and vegetarian potato. Chelsea J was our waitress and she's really amazing. Highly recommended.”
