The owners are so personable! Great food and sampling available! Definitely is a great place to eat!
It was Great, only open on weekends now, we go for the French Toast ! And don't forget the Homefries !
Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Fantastic ambience, delightful food, awesome service. I recommend this place.
I am actually writing this review in hopes that they will respond to me. I have been trying in the last two months with constant calls and emails to get someone to talk to me about the event i am suppose to have on May 24th. I realize there is a pandemic but your telling me no one is checking your voicemails or responding to emails. HORRIBLE customer service! If you will be closed I expect someone to inform, I wanted to try to reschedule the event but I cant if no one contacts me!
Savory breakfasts and lunches. Delicious coffee and teas available. Friendly staff. Will be ordering take out during the Covid 19 restrictions. Our favorite place!
We recently had a surprise 75th birthday party at this wonderful place. All of our guests were super impressed....we keep hearing about it over and over again. You often hear local folks talk about how nice it is. The food options (we did hot and cold appetizers, etc.) are amazing...so many choices if you are hosting and many are very creative. There seemed to be no formal end to the food coming....our guests finally said that they had had plenty! Chef Matt has a lot of experience and you can see it in every item his team prepares. This is a family run business and the whole family was engaged in running our event. Many different pricing and package options....Matt will work within your budget to the very best of his ability. Nice people, nice venue, nice food (quality and lots of it)....it would be hard to beat locally for about any kind of special event.

At the request of my sister-in-law who loves the tea room, I joined her for breakfast against my better judgement (2 past visits that were disappointing). I would have loved to have tried a scone or muffin, but both had chocolate chips in them the day we visited and they were the only options. Instead, I opted for scrambled eggs and scrapple. While the eggs were fine, the scrapple was horrible. It was sliced thin and cooked crisp leaving no soft center. Additionally, it was very salty. I personally like salt but this was over the top salty, bearly edible. Equally disappointing was my tea. While the flavor was good, it was luke warm. When I tried to pour it, it leaked everywhere. Figuring it was my mistake for not taking the insert out, I removed the insert and tried to replace the lid, which unfortunately fell right into the pot. The server was standing there as I awkwardly tried to fish it out and could not. I poured some more with the top in the pot and again it spilled. Again she just looked at me. Why she did not offer to make me a new pot, I will never understand. I generally love tea houses, but this one misses the mark completely. I will not be going back.
Not fond of chipped plates or cups ..but that's me. Dining in ..acoustics a bit loud. Lovely wait staff. DELICIOUS FOOD! ..eat in or take out! ..had the avocado BLT today ..excellent "clean" tasting fresh food.! We had the tea room cater my son's first Communion..in our home ..so courteous, timely, dependable ..they came into my home set everything up without my being there ..totally trustworthy and an epicurean delight. ! ..then came back to clear everything away.!Thanksgiving 2019..I asked ..on behalf of the company I work for.. if the tea room could make and box 250 pumpkin pies ..our recipe ..without falter Matt his dad Bill and staff stood up to the task when other larger caterers would not....over a 4 day period ..fresh every morning at 8am ..in trays and ready for us to distribute around our community...at such a busy time for them ..I would not hesitate to recommend them for anything needing to be catered....my company look forward to working with them in the near future. A smashing workforce, smashing food..Matt, Bill and staff are a smashing asset to this community ...wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody !
The ambiance is everything I hope for in a quaint American tea room from The two sweet and attentive women who run the place, quality and quantity of tea selections, charming mismatched tea sets, and the extraordinary food. I felt like I was in the comfort of my grandma's house. I plan to go for the holidays for the addition of some beautiful and traditional decor.

Cute spot for tea and a light lunch. The tea is very flavorful and extremely reasonably priced. Great selection of salads and sandwiches for lunch as well as assorted breakfast foods.
Great for lunch, had the vegetable sandwich - out of this world and I'm not a vegetarian. I will definitely go again for that sandwich. The room is small, all the tables filled; would not recommend if you want quiet. If you want to have great food, I highly recommend. My stomach will long remember the food and as brain will forget the noise.
First time, great experience. Food and service was excellent. Lots of character, would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast. We have not had their lunch.
Breakfast served all day. Great tasting breakfast items served in numerous ways. Really good light sandwiches. And of course, great tasting coffees and teas.
Went for lunch with a friend. I ordered the soup and tea sandwiches. I was underwhelmed by what I got. While I did enjoy the soup, the tea sandwiches were . mediocre. There were 5 sandwiches; egg salad, tuna salad, ham salad, a ham and egg salad and one I am not sure what it was. All were on the same combination of white and pumpernickel bread. They were cut into nice shapes and the plate looked pretty but I had expected a better variety with different types of breads. The meal cost $12 which was to high for a cup of soup and 5 tea sandwiches. I would not recommend as a tea house (have had much better).
