“We were in town for a visit with family and this was my SIL pick for dinner for her birthday. It did not disappoint with great cozy atmosphere and wonderful food. We ordered the French Onion soup, Giant Bavarian Pretzel, Meatballs, New Orleans Pasta, and Braised Short Rib Special and a cannoli togo. The French Onion soup was wonderful..Giant pretzel shared by all was great. The crostinis that came with the Meatballs were so hard and dry they were like dust..so some improvement needed there. The braised short rib special was excellent, the only thing I could hope for was a little more of the sauce over top of the potatoes!!! I also got a cannoli togo and I should have got two!!! It was amazing and I didn't even think I got a picture of it. We will defiantly be back to try some more food. It was very busy but everything was timely and hot.”

“We came here a few times in the early Autumn with some friends who we hadn't seen in a while, because they wanted to introduce us to this place, knowing how I'm a big fan of the 1950s and would get a kick out of the awesome decor throughout. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted with memorabilia and even old movies playing on a projector screen. But more importantly, the food. I really enjoyed their chili dogs. Their crinkle fries are better than I'm used to elsewhere, but I still don't love them. Their Pepsi fountain sodas are OK (though they really should upgrade to Coca-Cola products), and their shakes are excellent (I tried the butterscotch shake one time). One thing I did not care for, however, was their malt. I literally did not get any malt flavor in my chocolate shake until quite literally the very end, because it was all caked on the bottom of the cup and not mixed throughout. I know not to get that if we return to that place when they reopen. Weird that an indoors place like this would even close for the winter, that's usually the time of year I'm really craving this kind of food and atmosphere.”

“al pastor and birria tacos were so good! stopped by for taco tuesday with my friend and we were so impressed. the service was fast, the pastor was tender and flavorful, the birria was perfectly rich, and the tacos came with delicious roasted peppers and tortilla chips. honestly we were amazed that you can still get so much good food at such a good price around here. definitely stop by if you're around the collegeville area!!Kid-friendliness: there are some not kid-friendly items from the convenience store on display right near the ordering counter, so i would probably not take kids inside. food is great though!”

“Local Gem!Just stopped by Mystic Ways to give the brewery a try and was thoroughly impressed. Bartender/owner was very helpful, friendly and let me sample a couple beers as I had never been there. Every beer I tried was delicious and I bought a couple crowlers to take home.The atmosphere was inviting and unique. There is plenty of tables as well as room at the bar.Overall, I highly recommend and I will be back!”

“Might be our favorite place to get burgers. Never had a remotely bad experience here. Service has always been good and for a bar, it’s not too loud. Even when there’s live music, you can still have a conversation. Love coming here and can’t wait to go back.”

“We ordered pizza from here and it was wonderful. We had a complicated order and they got everything correct. It was only $35 for two pizzas with a ton of toppings. The pizza was delicious and the sausage was very high quality. The crust was nice and crispy and the vegetables were plentiful on the white pizza. Would love to try their other menu items as well.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies that can be added. Many pizza options without meat.”

“Stumbled across this hidden gem in Norristown while waiting for the shuttle to the elmwood park zoo. This place has so many options from fresh juices, homemade ice cream, popsicles, ice cream, desserts and lunch options. The service is awesome too , the person helping us offered different samples to see what we would like before purchasing and explained all the ingredients in certain options. The interior is so cute and colorful , definitely feel like your transported to Mexico when you walk inside. The crepe was amazing and light and the mangonada was spicy, sour and sweet. The perfect combination, will definitely be back to try more things !”

“You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.”

“Phenomenal breakfast spot, I have been going here since they reopened after COVID, and couldn't tell you how many times I've visited. This is my absolute favourite spot to bring friends and family to, since it always exceeds the already admittedly high expectations they have set.The breakfast specials change often, and are unique and always delicious. My personal go-to is the breakfast croquettes, which are worth coming here for by themselves. They are truly a work of art. The lunch items are great too, especially the Mac and cheese if it's still on the menu. My wife loves the avocado toast, especially with the fried brie. The owner also comes by to check in on the food, and is a really nice guy. The rest of the staff is fantastic too, and I always feel at home here.Get in early though, this place gets packed, and for very very good reason. Love these guys, and look forward to coming here for many years to come!”
