Went to Azul for Cinco de Mayo and had a great dinner! It was definitely packed because of the holiday, so we ended up waiting about 45 mins for a table but honestly that's usually a good sign that the food is worth it! Our server Ben was awesome. Even though the restaurant was insanely busy and he was clearly running all over the place, he stayed attentive, friendly and made sure we had what we needed. Food was delicious. When I tell you that may have been the best tacos I've ever had, I don't put it lightly. The pork belly tacos were HEAVEN. The meat was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The only time I've had better pork belly was when it was smoked for 6 hours...

The experience was good. Service was fine. The building is interesting, almost historic looking. The food isn't Mexican. It's inspired by Mexican food and gets close here and there, but it's not authentic. If you didn't care about that part, it's a decent place for sure.
