Hands down the best place in the area for breakfast or lunch. Don’t bother going over to Jim Thorpe. This place is the real deal and you can tell cause it’s full of locals. The kind of folk that slide over a stool to make room for you.

Our first visit to this charming, women-owned diner and it was fantastic. Don't let the size fool you. The owners were so nice and welcoming, making us feel like longtime regulars. The breakfast was excellent, and it’s easy to see why this spot has such high reviews and devoted patrons. We are local and can't wait to come back. Thank you for the great breakfast 😊

I was there in 2020. The hotel I was staying at was serving a covid breakfast. I didn't want that. I found The Central Lunch through my GPS. Everyone was so friendly, and the food was delicious!!! I was by myself. I felt very welcomed there!! And made great conversation with the people around me. I look forward to going back soon!!!

Tiffany, Tricia and Maria was very pleasant along with the other customers. We had breakfast. The bacon was nice pieces with real flavor. Not like the thin tasteless you get a lot of places. They make quite a bit of homemade food. They are very accommodating. Don't be fooled this place looks small but has great food and people.
