Such a great moment! Amazing service, friendly people, great value for the price! Extremely well organized and the entertainment on weekend is quite outstanding. Loved the pool and the cabin all over the site and enjoy the daily communication push from their app everyday! It’s a well “oiled machine”! The best public bathroom/shower I have seen in any camping I went. Will definitely go back! The only “downsides” is that I find the look of some sites and the entrance “overflow” a bit sketchy. But I guess the management is encouraging the sense of community over the overall look which make me appreciate the place even more! Bravo again and thank you for being so welcoming with French Canadian tourists!

Its a fun place and a very nice place to eat. Though a limited menu, the food is very good.

Been coming to The Woods at least once a summer with my fiancé for the past 3 years. We've always had a great time and met some amazing people. Typically prefer to stay in The Grove which has a wonderful sense of community and so many fellow campers are open to anything from just casual conversation while they walk by to helping out with setting up if they see you're struggling to inviting others under a canopy tent if nearby campers don't have one when it rains. We've done a few of the themed weekends over the years and have never had a bad time.

I ate there a few times and every single time the food was bad. Dried chicken, super greasy and over cooked vegetables. Canned and salty soup, “chicken” tenders, more flour than chicken. High price and trash food. Change the cook or lower prices.

I have been camping at The Woods Campground since opening weekend in May 2004. Of the approximately 10 Gay campgrounds I have been to, The Woods is always on top of the BEST list, Each year there have been improvements. While not the cheapest, it is the best and worth the prices.

Yelp, look what's been going on in those woods anyone interested.... little construction, "work zone"

I used to love this place. It has beautiful grounds, beautiful pool, a nice, kind community and plenty of activities. It was everything that the gay community embodies. That is, until it stayed silent as a co owner was arrested and accused of child molestation on the resort grounds. As an organization that serves the gay community(and represents it), you have an obligation and a duty to condemn this violence and inform your patrons how you will mitigate violence from again occurring on your campground. Your silence is deafening. The gay community is already unfairly Stereotyped when it comes to children and sexual assault. Let's not exacerbate the stereotype.Furthermore, you have an obligation to bar the accused child molestor from continuing to frequent your grounds. The optics are not good for you, your organization or the queer community. The police investigators noted: "Gremling said "congratulations" once the molestation was over". Abhorrent for anyone to go to a facility that cannot be bothered taking safety seriously and confront issues up front.*Update* I've been "banned" by the accused himself. They also messaged me attempting to intimidate me to take down this review. The lengths people will go to to defend indefensible things. This place isn't a safe haven for gays, it's elitist and out of touch.

One of the best gay campgrounds anywhere. One of the best (any category) campgrounds anywhere. I have been camping for 17 years, the last 6 full time, have been to literally hundreds of campgrounds, and this is one of the best. Gay, Straight, Nudist, Clothed, doesn't matter. My only complaint would be that all the shower houses are open air, no heat, and taking a shower when it is 45 degrees outside (and inside) is not fun.
