Amazing place! Food is top tier, love the mango sticky rice, curry, thai tea, pad thai, and I'm not usually a pineapple fried rice person, but theirs is smokey and delicious. Highly recommend.

However, you should know their tom kha is more of a Tom Kha Goong as opposed to a Tom Kha Gai. In case you were looking for one over the other.

Decided to try a new place with a friend and now I am dreaming about my pineapple fried rice and Thai tea. The food, service and ambiance was AMAZING. I can’t wait to go back to my new favorite restaurant.

I would say this is the best Thai I’ve tried in central pa. Hidden gem so sure. The service was excellent, I’m assuming she was the owner but she was so nice and welcoming. Very clean and nice inside.
As for the food we got the Tom Yum Fried Rice but substitute chicken inside of seafood and the Thai basil with chicken. Also a Thai iced tea. Both entrees were packed with flavor and seasoned well. Flavor and seasoning is something we struggle with here at any Thai restaurant but this place definitely did not disappoint. Since the Thai basil was on the more saucer side we had to order extra rice which added up lot! They should increase the portion of the side of white rice. The portions are quite big too but the price point for the entrees is on the higher end for sure. So not your average let’s get Thai food on a Friday night type of place. Definitely a fancier date night spot. Definitely would go back to try the other dishes!

My husband and I came here for the first time tonight for dinner before going to a show. We immediately loved how cozy and inviting the space was! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, as well as professional. I had the massaman curry with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the snow peas w/chicken, and he said it was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable evening out! We’ll be back for sure.

Don’t be fooled by the other reviews that gave it a 5 star rating. Take it from an Asian American from Philly who has eaten some of the best and authentic Thai foods from different cities including Philly and NYC. This place wouldn’t even come close to being on that list of best Thai restaurants. Unfortunately, there aren’t any quality Thai restaurants in Central PA, and that’s a fact. Central PA lacks the authenticity and freshness of ingredients that other major cities execute in their dishes. For takeout, I got their drunken noodles with beef and Red curry with chicken. The drunken noodles lacked flavor in the sauce, you could barely taste any. The overcooked onions and the mushy broccoli were unappetizing. In addition, the beef was very dry and hard to chew. The red curry was better, but not by much. It was on the sweeter side, but also a bit too salty. It seems as if they were overcompensating for the flavor by over seasoning it. Again, both dishes lacked any freshness in their ingredients and the vegetables were overly cooked. On top of that, the rice was even overcooked. Mine had some browning. It makes me wonder if the other customers who rave about this place haven’t had better Thai food outside of Central PA. Because this is seriously not one of the best in the area. In fact, I would choose Bangkok Wok instead because at least they give you better portions and their drunken noodles don’t have dry beef.

Tom Yum was quite spicy but tasty. Had Pad Thai with tofu and the Charm Salad. Excellent

We had an amazing dinner at Charm Thai and can’t recommend it enough! We started with three appetizers: Golden Shrimps—crispy shrimp served in sweet chili sauce, seriously addictive! Then came the fried calamari and veggies, perfectly crisp and not greasy at all, and a flavorful steak salad with just the right amount of spice.

For our main courses, we ordered the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and Massaman curry—all packed with bold, authentic flavors. Every dish was cooked to perfection and so delicious that after snapping pics of the first two appetizers, we completely forgot to take more photos… that’s how good the food was, lol!

The service was superb—Joy was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We also loved the modern Thai-style decor and the TV screen playing beautiful scenes of Thailand—it added such a warm and nostalgic touch.

If you’re in the area and craving Thai, Charm Thai is a must-visit!

An absolutely incredible restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. Every time I come the experience just gets better and better. And the atmosphere and the theme is really nice too! It feels very cozy. I recommend this restaurant. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. 5/5.

The food is ok, but the service is terrible. Every time I’ve been here, the wait has been over an hour, even for a to-go order. My last visit was the worst—I waited nearly two hours for my food, only to leave frustrated with no food and a cash refund instead of a credit card reversal.

I've visited Charm Thai Cuisine a few times—twice for dine-in and once for takeout—and each experience has been fantastic. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is cozy. Plus, it's BYOB! Oh, and the kitchen help singing 🎤 to Brian Adam’s was an added bonus!

Got take out and someone else picked it up so no comment on service or atmosphere. I had mango curry and it was some of the best I have ever had. I asked for mild heat and it was more like medium, so if you don’t like too much heat, dial it down!
