The food is tasty in this place, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the view is very beautiful and it should be noted that the service was excellent.

We had a Sunday afternoon lunch on the deck. The service was great and the food was excellent. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we will definitely be back!

We ate at Rock Bass Friday evening, June 26th. While all servers had masks attached to their ears — only 2 wore them properly!!! 1 waitress wore hers like a black “beard” tucked under her chin — not effective. Our waitress fiddled with hers and complained about it non-stop. The others had their noses hanging out, the hostess kept taking hers off and on. We should have left and I’m so very sorry we didn’t. I have a sore throat this morning. Never going back.

Lovely place along the Susquehanna River. Call for a reservation to get booths by the window. So worth it. Nice view of Harrisburg. Diverse menu and reasonable prices. Drinks an ample size. Oysters and steaks were delicious. Great Happy Hour. Nice specials. Brunch menu on Sundays. Our server Sarah was awesome-loved her style-attentiveness, knowledgeable and fun spirit!

My wife and I decided to go to rock bass grill for brunch. We have been here multiple times and have always had a great experience. Once again the food was amazing and I really enjoyed the crab cakes and eggs Benedict. I recommend this place for any meal.

On Sunday's they have prime rib special. I got that and husband had crabcake special. Husband loved his crabcakes. He said hardly any filler. The prime rib was a large piece and looked delicious, however, the entire piece was cold (as if just taken out of refrigerator and not heated up). I did order rare and expect center cold but cold gristle on outside I didn't expect. The atmosphere is gorgeous, right on the river. The ccx service was good.

Brand new place. It’s quite large and updated. I saw two bars. One large bar with young crowd. The other smaller bar area had older crowd. Decent live band playing music appropriate for those in their 50’s and 60’s. Mussels were good. Oyster shooter was deconstructed and you had to make it yourself?. The bourbon was good price in my opinion. Four neat Woodford Reserve drinks were $28. Unfortunately, the bartender was not very attentive and acted a bit like we were a bother. Will try again in the summer on the deck.

I sent the first steak back for being over cooked. Also thought that I had a dull knife went I cut the steak in half . The second steak came out with a another knife. It was also hard the cut in half. Well it was just a very tough steak and uneatable.

Visited with a friend for brunch to celebrate her birthday. We were seated promptly at a booth with a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna River and Harrisburg. Drinks were brought quickly. Ordering our meals seemed slow but I was enjoying the view and catching up with my friend for her birthday. Food took quite a while to arrive and was cold. While the flavors were there cold breakfast is not appealing. My friend asked for hers to be microwaved which should have alerted the waitress to an issue. No drink refills. No kind words about the flower arrangement on the table. We won't be back.

It took 35 minutes to get our drinks and 75 minutes to get our entrees. When the entree came it was not even Luke warm. Butter would not even melt. My husband said something to the restaurant manager about it taking so long to get our food. Her reply was, the food is in the kitchen! Very rude and very unprofessional. We have been to rock Bass before and it was excellent! We are thinking that it’s possible that it switched hands because the service was horrible and the food was cold. they did not offer any solution to our problem. We were just ignored. We will be calling a higher up to discuss the problem we had there last night. Better step it up rock bass or you’re going to lose a lot of customers!
