“This place is old, allows smoking, has cheap domestic beer on tap, sells pickled red beet eggs two for a dollar and a half, has surly barmaids, and is filled with half drunk locals, in other words, the perfect bar. Dive in yourself you won't be disappointed.”

“It was a fun atmosphere the girl at the bar had it going on. I thought she was the bar manager but when I asked her if she is the bar manager she asked me if I’d like to speak to the bar manager. I wish I would know her name. She really kept her head in the game and seemed to watch over and help the young ladies whom were tending to people.”

“Went for dinner on a Saturday around 5pm. Wait wasn’t long. Plenty of choices on the new menu. Meatloaf was delicious and not dry. Chicken and dumplings were tasty with a side of carrots. I believe the complete dinner was only about $17 but plenty of food- good portion size. Everything was delicious and the service was good. I was definitely not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Willl be back when I get a chance. Everything was greaf.”

“We thoroughly enjoy the food here. It's always good and we love their pierogie of the day special. The wait staff are very attentive and always make sure to check for drink refills. It's a bar in a college town but you see people of all ages here. They smoke their one meats and do a great job. Where else can you get duck tacos????”

“Stopped in for lunch and restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. Service was fast and friendly.My husband started with a cup of soup ( Shrimp Bisque) it was very good. We both had sandwiches. My burger was good ( frozen patty) the fries were delicious! Husband had the Rachel and Dutch fries served with vinegar on the side. Both were very good. Restaurant is in a shopping center and on the smaller size. Plenty of parking.”

“Went on Saturday March 30 with three adults, Two Toddlers and an Infant. The host and waiter were extremely friendly and personable! Can’t say enough about how good of an experience we had! Staff was kind and accommodating to our party and the food was delicious! Great place and I will definitely be returning and recommending this place again and again!!Kid-friendliness: Thy have high chairs and a chair to put your infant seat on! All the staff was mindful of the children and very kind, plus they gave the toddlers crayons!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp / baby stroller ramp, and a huge parking lot!”

“The food is really good. Steaks are filled. I've been there twice, got the regular cheese steak, and the mushroom one. Both were really good. Service is good but really to the point. Make sure you know what you want before you go up to the counter. Parking is on the main road, so just watch out lol.”

“Our bartender (Sam, If I remember correctly) was SO wonderful and attentive. We enjoyed our fair share of craft beer and had some of the BEST dry rub wings here.We really enjoyed the Trusted Companion / ESB brew - but they had plenty of great stouts, IPAs, etc. on the menu. Definitely worth making a stop!We are also visiting from out of town and noticed that the people are just generally very friendly. If you are planning a trip from out of town - this is certainly THE place to stop!”

“Stumbled upon this gem on the way home from Allentown. Not sure why everyone didn’t give it 5 stars… let’s just say they are WRONG! Our waiter Alex was phenomenal! It’s so refreshing to have someone who knows the menu and can give you an honest opinion. He recommended the French dip, which is something my boyfriend never would have ordered, and he was drooling with every bite! We had an espresso stout and a vanilla chocolate milk stout and if you like stouts they were delicious!!! (We aren’t IPA fans so can’t review that part.) We also had the cauliflower fries with Thai chili dip… so good. They had some really unique options on the menu. Things you wouldn’t (or couldn’t ) make at home but also classics that anyone would enjoy. The “Among Us” burger is their gluten free vegan option, which is usually typical, but they chose to step up the toppings which really made it exceptional! Side option are fries and chips and we tried both options and they chose wisely! Both are worth trying. Can’t wait to come back through this way! Who am I kidding? We will make a detour here anytime!”

“Grew up doing the different activities they offer during the holidays for the kids. Place hasn’t changed much but that’s one of the best things about it. From Easter egg hunts to fishing rodeos to the Christmas parties always was a great memory that I carry on to my own child”

“We ordered a variety of empanadas to try out. They were a nice large size and everything was really tasty. My personal favorite was the beef. The seafood was also good - I feel like I want to dip it in something but haven’t figured out what would be ideal yet. We had some left over and they also reheated very well. Recommend this place to anyone wanting to try empanadas or needing their empanada fix!”
